' first function- analysis

The host can look upon any spirit beast or beast and get basic information about them. It can range from their strengths, weaknesses, and even growth methods. This is the key gift for the host to utilize in getting stronger along with their tamed beasts.

Second function- quest

The user will have quests that generate based on their desires and ideals. The system will create these tasks with rewards from the system. The god of creation gave the system this particular ability to allow for the host to push themselves to high heights and one day shine like the stars the creator spent so many eons building.

Third function- random gacha

The gotcha function is one of the functions seen most in the host's previous life. The video game functions with this were seen to have performed better and caused many emotions within the players. Therefore, the host can save up tickets from the quests to use on the gotcha for materials, protective gear, and even other wonderful prizes.'

The system stopped speaking and left the screen for Clark to look at. He was amazed. This was what he had been waiting for. Fifteen years of absorbing energy and the system he had been blessed with was here. However, his analysis skill was reacting already. It was not something that Clark expected.

'Spirit beast egg- hatching (5 minutes)

This is an unknown spirit beast egg. From its invisible appearance, it is expected to have the mythical ghost attribute thought to be found one in a billion spirit beasts. This egg is bound and created when the host; Clark, was born. The system urges the host to bond with it as it will be the foundation for all of the hosts' strength. The incubation of this spirit beast was held off by the system to allow for maximum nutrition before hatching.'

"I have one! What do you mean I have one!? I thought- no wait, this is great!" Clark was ecstatic. The rest of the system was nothing right now. He had a spirit beast, he was a tamer already and had a mythical attribute spirit beast egg. It had been held off to get proper nutrition which was even better. That meant it would hatch at a much higher quality than the other spirit beasts people would hatch. And since Clark was already at fifteen years old, he could better understand how to provide for this spirit beast and guide its growth using the system as his crutch. It all worked out too perfectly that Clark felt as if this was all some dream.

On top of all this, the lord of creation, whoever that was, had given him a system with a gotcha function. The single most frustrating but amazing thing from any video games that Clark could vaguely remember from his other life. It was tough to narrow down all the specifics of what his life was like before he became Clark. Basic information remained while some things were just foggy dreams.

In his daze, Clark realized he had wasted the five minutes. The sound of cracking revealed a strange shape in the air. The priorly invisible egg became gray and showed cracked webbing. The eggshell then started to break and seemingly melt in to thin air. What was revealed was a strange white shape.

"You look like a small balloon with a scary cut sheet over it. What are you?" soft cackling seemed to echo around the room as the little thing turned toward Clark and showed the dark void within its mouth. The cliche appearance of a spirit struck Clark. He had seen many similar things made to scare little children in his other life before he had been given a second chance.

'Little spirit (First Tier) Mythical rank

This little spirit just hatched and is head over heels to see its partner after taking so long to hatch. The little spirit is in the weakest state of the tier ranking. There is an extremely high potential for it to grow in to a king spirit if it is guided properly. The best way for the little spirit to grow is to consume the spirits of other fallen beasts. It can also directly consume the energy in beast cores along with unique materials that have spiritual energy. The hallmark skills of this little spirit are invisibility, echoing laughter, and chilling bite. It can gain more through increasing its strength or evolving if reaching the proper requirements.'

"It seems like you could be very mischievous. I will call you devil. A little devil hiding in the shadows waiting to grab someone." The little spirit seemed to adore the name. It would grow to be the devil that could strike and beat any beasts that dared come near him and its partner.

'The host has named and begun bonding with their spirit beast. As a reward, the system had granted ten free draws on the gotcha. This is a one time reward. From now on the system will require quests to be completed. Good luck!'

Quest: The dream of a spirit tamer

Go to the next evaluation and pass with flying colors to get a beginner rank spirit tamer license. The host will secure a path to further education and the pursuit of their dream to be a legendary tamer or higher!

The reward will be determined after the system witnesses the host's actions.'

"That's exactly what I was going to do anyways! Right Devi?" Clark already had a nickname for his little spirit, Devil. He wanted to have a cute nickname that matched the adorable appearance that he saw now. He was sure that Devi would sweep through the exam with ease. The little spirit was already fueled by Clark's energy. It was moving about the room in flashes as it unconsciously used its invisibility.

Devi may just have hatched but it had felt the emotions of Clark for years already. Since the day he was born, so was Devi. just because it was in the egg did not mean that it had missed anything. Every moment Clark and Devi had been together.

"Oh wait, you are a girl? No, boy. I can feel it, that makes us brothers. We will be partners and take the world by storm. Just get ready for that test. We are heading there right away. The city has staff occupying the spirit tamer building at all times. We can take the test in the middle of the night if we want. But first, let's see what this gotcha is all about. I had some luck in my last life. Hopefully it followed me here." The memories of playing gotcha games to get new characters and items was fresh in Clark's mind. He thought about opening the gotcha system and was met with a new bubble before his eyes.
