Progress

I stumbled upon some things but it didn't really affect our speed. I am still going at my own pace and I can practically see the planet Jupiter.

It looks blue. Even bluer than earth. How is it this blue?

(Because the landmass of Jupiter is limited. That planet is 90 percent water and 10 percent land. Of those 10 percent is 50 percent forests, deserts and mountains. It's really not the ideal place for a populous race like humans.)

It really is in a bad shape. So that's another reason they needed a new land.

(Yes. They were desperately searching for a new habitat and the gods gave them the necessary means. So it just fit in this.)

Hmm…only another day left. So why don't we skip that delay?

"Aera, I will open the portal. Jump through the portal and scan the planet as soon as we approach it."

"Yes master."

I focused and poured my <Spirit >. I still don't understand how it works but I can see two portals. One in the front and the other near the planet.

Aera quickly dove in and came from the other side. I close the portals.

"Scanning."

She said that and I saw readings of many things. I don't understand most of them as geography and stuff were not my forte. I will wait for her to finish.

And she was done. She has a detailed list of things on the touch screen. I won't go into much details but what System said was true. This planet lacks landmass.

The water level is too high. I am picking up land signatures from below water level.

This planet has three continents and they aren't very big.

If I have to say, those three would make about half of Asia. That's not big. Our Asia was humongous. Anyway, where should I land?

Are they advanced because I can't get a handle on their civilization?

"Aera, check for anything mechanical. Is there anything down there that could be said advanced?"

This is a pretty vague order. But Aera is searching again.

"No, master. I don't feel anything mechanical. In the first place, most of the places are medieval in style. The only place I can feel any magic is from here."

Aera showed me a live picture. So she can even project things. I think, I should ask Fay about it.

"Aera, are they up yet?"

"Yes, master. They are getting ready and will arrive here soon."

That's good then. I will ask Fay directly.

And they arrived as soon as I thought that. It's good. My timing is getting better.

"Fay, there's something I wanna ask you."

"What is it?" She said as she took her seat.

"How advanced is your civilization?"

"That's an odd question. I'm not sure I understand how to answer." (Fay)

"I mean, your homes, your daily lives…how do you feel about it? I mean, how to say….."

I am at a loss. How do I make her understand?

"I get it. You are trying to say how advanced are we, huh? Ummm….normally I should say that we are medieval compared to your world. You are probably thinking how are we operating such spaceships? That's just a blessing from the gods. Normally, we are far below your civilization." (Fay)

"You sure didn't mince your words. So technologically, you are below. Magically, you do have magic. But how many of you can use magic?"

"Not many. In my kingdom, only 10 percent of the total population can use magic. And I would say I fall in the top category." (Fay)

"So I don't have to worry about normal people. The only hindrance will be the gods."

I get it. The general idea is here. I have some idea about the enemy as well. But aren't I too overpowered then?

Maybe I should handicap myself.

"Folks, attention please."

I start saying in a dramatic manner. They all look at me.

"What's the matter, master?" (Hazel)

"Honey, you are talking weird!" (Aura)

"Papa, you speak funny." (Eden)

And Fay just sighed. Anyway, let me continue.

"I have been thinking that I was too powerful. So I want to try and become a bit weaker than I am now."

Everyone made a difficult face.

"Master, I also think that you are a bit too powerful. But can you really become weaker?" (Hazel)

"Yes. I can. I just need to seal my <Spirit >. That's all."

Sealing this much <Spirit > would be tough. But, let's try it.

"So, how are you going to seal it?" (Aura)

"Mmm…. I need someone to host. My seal would be in control of that host. More like a manager. My power would be under the management of that person. So who should I make the seal?"

Hazel raised her hand.

"If you will choose someone to manage your powers then I volunteer." (Hazel)

"Then me too. It's a wife's duty to look after her husband." (Aura)

They both nominated. But what should I do?

(Just make both of them the source. Your <Spirit > is too much for a single person anyway. The ideal would be at least 4 people.)

So I need more people? Then how about Aera?

(Yes. Both Aera and Aegis work. You can even use me.)

That's a bit too much. So I will probably stop at Aegis.

"Then, I have made a seal. Hazel, Aura, Aera and Aegis will be the source of my seal. But it's more like, they will equally receive some of my powers and use it to their advantage. Are you 4 ready?"

""Yes."" All of them said. And boom….the seal is done.

"Yep….it's done. Do you feel anything different?"

"It feels like I am reborn." (Hazel)

"Honey, you were hiding this much power?" (Aura)

They are both glowing. Like they got a makeover.

"No. That is basically 40 percent of my power divided into 4 people. You all got equal parts. So 10 percent each."

"What? This is just 10 percent of your power? I feel like I can even destroy a planet." (Aura)

"Try not to do that. It took me a while to get used to it. So I have 60 percent of my original <Spirit > left. And I think can convert a little more to mana. I have mana circulation path after all. So 20 percent to mana and the remaining is stashed."

I did that and I felt hot. Like my body was on fire.

"Master, your clothes are on fire." (Hazel)

"So, it's not just me huh. Aera, spray me with fire extinguisher."

I tell Aera. I am not using my body enhancements but I can say I am fire proof on the surface.

But Aera didn't do anything. Because she didn't get the chance.

"Freeze."

I was hit with cold ice. Like I was entrapped in ice. Fay had already frozen me in ice.

So yeah. But I have to say, she has improved. Why did she freeze me though? She looked away from me and was huffing and puffing.

However, I really am frozen and I can't speak in this state. So my journey to Jupiter is almost over but trouble still follows me.
