Edol returned to Elaine's side by the time Tori and Nes arrived at the fishing spot. The elder looked a bit more tired than usual, and Tori looked like she's also lost some sleep.
'She should've been in the town hall as well to sleep, right? Come to think of it, I don't think I saw her this morning.'
Upon seeing the basket packed full of fish, Nes gave the group a thumbs up.
"Nice. Now after we finish training, I can head straight to the booze counter instead of having to come out here to fish!"
'That's… well, at least he's honest.'
Nes had already promised to train both Edol and Tori the other day. After asking Elaine to bring the two kids back to the town, the trio left for the woods north of the city. There was a clearing area right on the northern edge of the city, it was the same place Edol had trained with Sal.
Traumatic memories of failing with the spear resurfaced as he walked into the clearing, but Edol quickly pushed them away.
