Ulterior Motive

"Tsk. This won't do. There are a lot of paparazzi waiting for you right at the entrance and all points of entry inside the radio broadcasting building," In the passenger seat, Valerie sighed hard as she briefly looks at Irene worriedly. 

On the other hand, Irene is seated in the backseat of the car as she stares blankly outside the window. There are a lot of journalists holding a microphone each as well as cameramen under the scorching heat of the sun.

Valerie turned to Irene and said, "I will inform the radio program director that we will not be able to join today due to obvious reasons," She quickly takes out her phone and dialed a number.

Irene simply nodded her head as she leaned it on the window. Their car is parked a few meters away from the radio broadcasting building so the paparazzi can't really see them.
