As Doug conjured a white door, he glanced back at Philip, who was now sporting the jacket he had crafted for him.
"It's not even my second day, and I'm already facing this ordeal. Why do I feel like I'm the one being deceived here?" Doug lamented.
Observing Doug's distress, Philip grinned mischievously, but he remained silent, urging Doug to open the door.
Earlier, he had decided for Doug to join him in his travel, even though it was enough for Doug to guide him to Gerald's space. With that, Doug really didn't need to come with him.
However, since there was a chance that Philip might die, Doug had no choice but to assist him. After all, Philip's death meant Doug's own demise.
