The burly knight shouted as he advanced, forcefully pushing Greed aside.

Exerting a strong force.

Despite Greed's higher rank, the burly knight didn't care. He knew he was doing the right thing by preventing the dark class user from escaping and saving time.

The Holy King would likely reward him for his actions.

Such a thought went through the burly knight's head, but the moment he entered the passageway, suddenly, out of nowhere, his neck hit a taut silver string.

The razor-sharp wire sliced through his flesh and bone with sickening ease. His head was severed instantly, tumbling to the ground in a gruesome spray of blood.

Arterial blood gushed from his open neck, splattering the walls and floor in a macabre pattern.

The burly knight's decapitated body staggered for a moment, as if unaware of its fate, before collapsing backward in a lifeless heap, blood pooling around it in a dark, spreading stain.
