"Alright, just give me a minute to wash my face and I'll be out," Lan Xuanyu said before hanging up the call.
He went to the bathroom, and as he was about to wash up, he caught sight of his reflection in the mirror.
His gaze froze momentarily, and Lan Xuanyu rubbed his eyes.
The person in the mirror seemed different. His skin had become fairer, but what stood out the most were his eyes—they were deeper and more lustrous. Within the black of his pupils, a hint of colored halo could be seen circulating. When he focused, he could clearly see the colors at the depths of his eyes blossoming outward.
Colored lights in the eyes? Wasn't that too exaggerated?
Lan Xuanyu quickly composed himself, and the colors at the bottom of his eyes faded and disappeared.
After taking a deep breath, Lan Xuanyu's expression returned to normal. He hastily cleaned himself up, changed into a fresh school uniform, and then left the dormitory.
