A short time skip

A whole month has passed already Since the soul beast hunt, a lot has happened during this month. At least that how I think it is. By the way if you are wondering today I'm exactly nine years and four months old, of course that's only counting the age here.

I deliberately haven't increased my soul rank, so it's still only at 27 even after a month of training. Similarly with spiritual power, don't get me wrong I wasn't slacking off I just though I can spend my time in more cost efficient way.

I mean think about it, once I get another soul ring that's pretty much rank 30 I would just need a soul ring to increase it, as for my spiritual power there is time for everything and I am still young, there is no rush. It's best to increase my strength surely but steadily.

That's why I'm mostly focused on training my abilities and increasing my other strengths. To be completely honest cultivation is quite fun. I'm currently doing a little bit of research or experiments on it, nothing too serious as I don't have much knowledge or power in this particular field currently.

Honestly I have so many ideas but so little time to incorporate them, either that or my strength is limiting me. Well no need to beat myself over it, cannot become impatient or that may inflict on my cultivation.

Well because of this "limitations" I have, I was trying to progress mostly in efficiency. You may compare me to a minimaxer but I don't care. I'm currently weak as you know, not only I have a low cultivation rank I also have low energy reserves. Of course my compression is high but nonetheless I'm still a soul grandmaster.

That's why I try to minimize the soul and spiritual power cost, but maximize the effect. Once I get soul cores in the future that may not be much of a problem but think for a second, even with them the energy isn't limitless, so if I also add ways to efficiently use soul power wouldn't I just recover more than lose?

Well at least that's what I think of course as I said before the scope of this experiments aren't only limited to soul power but also spiritual power. Now that everything was said let's move on from my cost efficient ways of using soul power.

Besides that I was of course training my first two martial souls, I'm quite fond of my ice brush as I always thought that powers related to ice are cool, and so I made the phoenix bloodline and this martial soul.

Improving Elements is quite hard, I have to constantly increase my attainments in them so that in the future I can condense an elemental core, but that's not the only thing. The biggest problem I face is no guidance at all, even back in the body sect I was mostly instructed about you know using my body.

But I have some Ideas, truly thank you tang san you are every protagonists sugar daddy since TJSS wrote you. What I mean by that is that I still vaguely remember his advices in soul land 5 thanks the heavens someone there had an ice attribute bloodline.

Though I cannot learn the tang sects techniques currently I will be sure to do that in the future, but there are still some Ideas of my own I had as well as his advices. You know where all of that brought me though? Sword Intent, that's right. Quite surprising at first but then it started to click in my head.

They are quite suitable for each other, you still don't know my soul skills for the Ice brush but it's quite useful for it and controlling, making projectiles with Ice element. I also had another idea about sword intent and my ice brush but that's for later, I still need to improve considerably in both of them.

It will probably be impossible until I reach the peak of my sword intent, and be on the cusp of reaching sword soul. If that will be possible it will immensely benefit my battle prowess and future achievements.

I guess that's it for my Ice Brush, now moving onto the Water Pen. I had even less idea on what to do with it, not having a teacher truly is hard. So I had to rack my brain for answers, how to improve there, what's my future path with it, what is it like at the peak? I think it all moves into finding my own way again.

I already did that with the sword it was time I did it there as well. So to reach a conclusion I was thinking what exactly IS water element, how is it like?. I couldn't ask others for this answer, I felt like I would regret it in the end.

If you though how water elements are you would probably think of something like gentle, elegant, refined. Wrong, at least to me, I though what I saw here near the sea so far. The soul beasts, Weles, and I reached a conclusion. The crab was certainly refined, his moves were thought out and the water elements were often precisely controlled.

Now Weles and the horse, they were overpowering violent, quite proud as well. So I realized that's what I will purse it for. This violent and overpowering effect, this domination of others and aggressiveness of the sea.

Think about it for the second, how the sea is during a storm the strong waves and water currents. Isn't it quite violent? Isn't it domineering? It can't really be stopped, the currents stop you from moving and drag your body around, the waves hit you with strength you couldn't imagine and bury you under water.

That's what I will aim for, the water elements for sure are elegant and gentle but that is only one side of it, I will go for the other. My Ice brush should originally be a control type, the water pen would be Control-Assault system. I will turn it completely into an assault system that's my goal for it, the path I will walk.

As far as my current efforts are going, it seems to be right for me. Honestly I have so many things I want to try out, so many things I have to do. My determination skyrockets thinking about all of that. I also have many other things to pick up for the future, like soul guides they are currently called as I remember.

There is also the thing with my bloodlines, for them there is also a lot of ideas, but they are a bit too weak for me to do anything and I myself as well. I couldn't really think of all of this when I was creating "myself" since I didn't have in real life experience with this world.

Let's take my Hero's Bloodline for example, I designed it based on fate, now that I'm here I think it should be possible to recreate god hand for example, I would need a blood essence core condensed from my Hero's bloodline though.

It should also have more limitations, like not 9 resurrections but less, and probably wouldn't get impervious to the same type of attack but it would still be broken nonetheless. As for my Ice Phoenix bloodline I was thinking about doing something about it with body sects techniques. Shouldn't I be able to emulate my ice element control with it to an extent?

Of course the effect would be best with my Ice brush, but think this I can also use another martial soul too. Well that is all of the future, nothing I can do anytime soon but I will be sure to remember all of my plans and ambitions.

Well that was a lot of talking about cultivation, so it's time to move onto another thing what was happening besides it. After the soul beast hunt everyone's determination improved and they trained quite intensely. One by one each of them advanced to rank 30, and we did a few other soul beast hunts.

Weles wanted to go with us, but the others rejected him. He was already so strong compared to them so how could they grow with him babysitting them? They wanted to also be useful and become stronger so we went without him.

So now everyone got to become a Soul Ancestors, except me sadly but I will get there soon enough. Especially since Soul Elder is just around the corner! Tomorrow this time with Weles, we are going on a hunt, since for myself we will hunt stronger soul beasts.

After that I will most likely hit rank 30 and after I consolidate my cultivation everyone will help me go out to get another soul beasts but that is for later.

Another chapter done as you can see Cai is really thinking about his future and ways to get stronger, I wanted to do a breather chapter but decided against it in the end.
