Chapter 74: The Ultimate Trial and a Reward
An hour later, Sophia regained consciousness. She blinked as she still felt the fatigue.
"Little pup, are you okay?" Mooney asked, worrying if something bad had happened to Sophia.
"Yes, Pop. I'm exhausted, but I'm okay." Then she sat and looked around. "Pucchi? Where are you? Pucchi?"
"Ash, listen to me."
However, Sophia had already stood and walked to the door. She opened it and shouted, "Pucchi, where are you? Naughty girl, do you run to the river again?" She giggled as it was what Pucchi used to do. But then, as she didn't see the piggy around, Sophia walked to the beach. "Pucchi! Where are you?"
Mooney chased Sophia. "Ash, listen to me. I've got something to say."
Then Sophia stopped. "What is it, Pop?"
"It's about Pucchi. You may want to sit down first."
Sophia stared at Mooney. Bad feelings started creeping into her mind. "Has something wrong happened to Pucchi?"
