Chapter 72: The Second Trial
Sophia shook her head and hugged Mooney's neck again. "No, Pop! Don't go! Don't leave me! What can I do without you?" She bawled, and her tears fell on Mooney's fur.
Mooney let out a long sigh. His heart was heavy as he didn't want to leave Sophia too. However, it was not his decision, but Magna's. He patted Sophia's hand. "Ash, you have mastered the basic skill for survival. Now, you have Picchi with you. Everything will be alright."
"If I beg Magna to let you stay here, will He grant it, Pop?" Sophia sniffed and wiped her tears.
Mooney shook his head. "I don't know. You can try, but Magna seems to have decided it."
Sophia sobbed again. So, Mooney kissed Sophia's cheek with his nose.
"Little pup, though I will return to Magna's place, it doesn't mean I won't look after you. I will keep following your journey and praying for your happiness."
