Two months passed swiftly; it was winter. There was an unusual busyness in Giselda and Zealous's house. Jock walked back and forth in the living room as some she-wolves were busy preparing hot water, clean towels, meals, and honey.
Viona was about to give birth. It was already ten hours waiting, but the pup hadn't come out yet. Her shrieking filled the house as an enormous pain was too much for her.
"How much longer is needed?" Jock asked a few she-wolves who were out of Viona's room.
"We don't know, Alpha. But Mistress Viona is fighting hard inside to give birth to the pup." Then they rushed to go to the kitchen again.
Giselda accompanied Viona as she kept holding Viona's hand. "Mommy, you can do it! Push, Mommy!"
"I can't! It hurts!"
"You can, Mommy. Imagine soon you can hold your pup. We will love and spoil the pup."
