However, the former boys’ school/upbringing of my wife not only has implanted an ‘I have to do and am able to do this myself’ syndrome in her, but the Testosterone on which she grew up has given her ‘Male Entitlement Syndrome’ and ‘I Know Everything’ Syndrome, as well. Okay, some of you male readers aren’t like that, I know, but you probably feel like you should be.

I, on the other hand, as the man of the family now, feel, ‘Hey she should ask my advice on this (cuz I (now) know everything’, or at least ‘She’s only a girl, now…’) Right?

But, that aside, I am all over the practical side of things, and figure 1. She’s the wife, she’s going to do what she wants, anyhow and 2. I’m going to sit here on my fat lazy ass while she does it.

Now I ask you; is this the best of both worlds or the worst?

Neither. It’s just a slightly off-kilter, less-stereotypical—or maybe more stereotypical—way of being. But it makes me feel like a pimp, or a wuss at the very least.
