A group of Spec Ops operators are saved from the jaws of death by the intervention of the Supreme Law of Time. After waking from a coma, the team's leader finds himself bound to an alien symbiote. And thanks to the symbiote, the team is thrust into the hidden world of Will awakeners; individuals who use their Will to harness superhuman abilities. As if that wasn't bad enough, the team accidentally uncover a conspiracy by a powerful shadow organisation which then puts them in the central position in the fight against the organisation and their nefarious plans for the world. Thus, begins the journey of the Soldiers chosen by Time!

The skies had darkened as the sun made its way to another part of the world, thus ushering Jalingo and the rest of the continent into nightfall.
At a time where many people were returning home from work, the DSS Taraba State Headquarters in Jalingo was still a beehive of activities.
This was especially so for the Department's Counterinsurgency and Counter-terrorism unit at the HQ.
Ali Musa was brought to the Counter-terrorism office by a unit of the Nigerian army's 7th Division for questioning.
A few minutes later, another group of soldiers belonging to the same 7th Division unit arrived at the offices after escorting one of the richest men in Jalingo, Saleh Shata to the HQ through a secret entrance to avoid possible media coverage.
