A group of Spec Ops operators are saved from the jaws of death by the intervention of the Supreme Law of Time. After waking from a coma, the team's leader finds himself bound to an alien symbiote. And thanks to the symbiote, the team is thrust into the hidden world of Will awakeners; individuals who use their Will to harness superhuman abilities. As if that wasn't bad enough, the team accidentally uncover a conspiracy by a powerful shadow organisation which then puts them in the central position in the fight against the organisation and their nefarious plans for the world. 'Where am I?'
Korede's consciousness woke. He found himself in a dark space. The darkness seemed void of everything else except the darkness, even the feeling of the Laws he usually took for granted couldn't be felt by him.
The concepts of Time, Space, Balance, Gravity, Life, Fate… they all eluded him in this space.
'I remember… I died, didn't I?'
'The afterlife is much bleaker than I expected.' Korede released a wry chuckle. 'Perhaps this is the waiting space before judgement and the afterlife?'
He sighed.
'I wonder what happened afterwards. Did I successfully steer the missile away from the city?'
'How will my parents take my death? My brother? My team? I wonder how they're all doing.'
Korede chuckled again.
