A group of Spec Ops operators are saved from the jaws of death by the intervention of the Supreme Law of Time. After waking from a coma, the team's leader finds himself bound to an alien symbiote. And thanks to the symbiote, the team is thrust into the hidden world of Will awakeners; individuals who use their Will to harness superhuman abilities. As if that wasn't bad enough, the team accidentally uncover a conspiracy by a powerful shadow organisation which then puts them in the central position in the fight against the organisation and their nefarious plans for the world. CH261: ALPHA TEAM'S FIRST CASUALTY
Champion and Mary joined the fray.
They attacked the WSP from behind, successfully diverting their attention from the Rebels and civilians.
They shot their targets in the arms and legs.
This was mostly enough to cause the men to lose combat effectiveness, especially those shot in the arms.
The Rebel commander used the relief brought by the duo to move the civilians out of the hotspot while the rebel fighters held off the Royal Guards.

The stalemate only lasted a while however. The WSP soldiers got bolder when they noticed Champion and Mary, for some reason, didn't kill anyone.
The WSP commander ordered his men to recklessly charge the duo once he discovered their inhibitions.
