Chapter 15

Addy

Addy felt in her gut that Harley hated watching someone being killed but by law hurting a future queen is punishment, technically Celeste should be too but due to them both being in the human world it doesn't count. Addy has no idea what to do about Harley knowing that their is no way to change of beheading someone within their Coven. Arriving to the prison to see Elizabeth handcuffed surprised her since she has never seen her step-mothers lover but yeah, that woman is beautiful.

"You have to let me go, Madison is going to hate me for being caught by the law of this Coven. Addy, please, I haven't meant to hurt Harley, she is a precious lady, and I didn't want to make Madison mad by not doing as she asked." Elizabeth begged with pleading eyes.

"You're daughter is on her way to see you. You are staying in this prison until further notice and as for Madison be on the lookout for her everyone, she isn't getting away with hurting my partner." Addy said in a threatening tone.

Addy looked at Harley whom at least agreed to prison terms for now but couldn't look at Elizabeth who kept begging for Harley to see that she didn't mean harm. Addy knew Harley better than anyone at this point experiencing violence isn't either of their strong suits and it has taken Addy, herself this long to forgive Celeste for everything that she did to her in the human world but losing your soulmate will make you do some crazy things. Addy had to think of a way to better all of this especially for the sake of Harley or end up losing her due to beliefs that death solves anything.

"Celeste, is their a way to change this law without beheading anyone for just wanting to be around us or having an attraction that connects to rape, I am seemingly thinking that prison time for life is more than fair enough including those that murder their own kind. Can we change this law without being queen's right away?" Addy asked.

"Addy, changing any laws without being married is unheard of. I am sorry it doesn't work that simple and I know council would never approve of this, beheading someone is tradition for them doing unlawful things in society of respect to our future kings and queens of the coven. Harley, I know this is all you but please understand that you will have to face this one head on, and right now until you both are on those thrones I am currently in handling of the rules that are applied in society. I am going to go head out to be with my girlfriend Abby, I will see you both another day since I am on break for the time being. Have a good day ladies." Celeste replied.

Addy felt so bad at this point for Harley. Addy watched Harley walk away from her without saying a word, this isn't some test now, it is reality that she needed to get Harley prepared for much worse than losing her mother Reba. Addy ran to Harley catching up to her.

"Babe, it will be okay. I will be by your side when this goes down, you can close your eyes when the event goes down. I am not liking this any better than you and I thought by asking Celeste we could be able to change this..." Addy said though her throat caught as Harley looked at her.

"For the woman who didn't seem to care that her step-mother and her lover were to be beheaded seems to have a different insight all of a sudden, Addy, if you really care about people and their humanity then I would be okay but knowing you it is all probably just a wool over my eyes." Harley replied as anger got the best of her.

"I do care about the humanity of people. Difference is, I do not want people hurting others because they think that it is okay too. Harley, what they did is wrong and should have consequences like everyone else. A prison cell isn't going to change that. We need to change some laws I agree though I don't agree to changing this one." Addy responded.

Addy watched Harley go at this point shaking her head than looked at Harley.

"We are too different from one another, my beautiful blue-eyed beauty queen. I will see you around." Harley said.

Addy stood their watching Harley walk away to wherever she is headed and didn't go after her. Addy decided it is best to make her way to the loft and began packing her things. Being queens in a few months time this whole dating thing keeps blowing up in her face. Addy wants everything to stay put but her and Harley have a long way to go. Until they are married, she is heading to her dad's for an attempt to figure out what she can do to fix this with Harley. Addy knew she didn't want to lose Harley but what if losing Harley is her only chance of true happiness again? But then their will be no happy ending. Addy didn't have any clue on how to solve this until she met a gorgeous woman while walking to her dad's from the loft. They made eye contact but didn't speak and Addy just couldn't get her to leave out of her mind whoever she is. Making it to her dad's place safely, he looked sad and sombered like his whole world crashed.

"Baby girl, what are you doing here?" Cameron asked sadly.

"Harley and I needed a time out even though it's only been two days. We had a disagreement." Addy said.

"Looks like we're stuck in a depression root of nothingness in this wholesome home of ours. Madison high tailed out of here when she found out I wanted to end it and took Elizabeth Winters with her. Pissed me off that my own wife was having an affair with another woman." Cameron replied.

"Their is more to that than what she has told you, I am sure." Addy responded.

"Addy, if this about beheading them. I am all for it. Otherwise, I do not wish to know more about that disgusting woman." Cameron replied with gritted teeth.

"Alright dad but if you must know before I stay silent any longer, and I am surprised rumors haven't flown around but you're wife and her lover raped my newly found girlfriend Harley behind my back." Addy responded frowning.

Addy saw the look on her dad's face like he saw a ghost in the shadows it never occurred to anyone the reason them two are being beheaded is because of hurting Harley. Now it is up to her to find Madison before she goes after Harley again. After explaining everything to her dad, Addy went upstairs to her bedroom that never changed one bit to find a note from Madison on her desk.

Addison,

You're lovely girlfriend Harley felt amazing between my thighs as we grinded together and enjoyed some awesome sweet pussy that you probably hadn't even attempted to try. I am well aware Elizabeth is caught, she is as slow as a snail when it comes to hurrying some place. You won't ever find me though because I am not ever wanting to be found as for Harley, she is with me and we are going to have some fun.

Goodbye,

Sweet Pea

Addy wanted to throw up that Madison had literally came here to kidnap her own girlfriend for what? She isn't sure. This is pure evil and now days of finding Madison with Harley seemed impossible. It must've happened in the courtyard after their bickering. Rushing downstairs then out the front door, she caught eye contact of that woman again that has light purple hair, emerald eyes, bright purple lipstick, short light purple dress, and bright purple flats. Addy gulped haven't felt butterflies in a while over someone so majestically gorgeous.

"Queen Addy Keith, aren't you a fine woman to see wandering around here?" The woman said with a sparkle in her eyes like she just finished having alcohol.

"You are who?" Addy replied with a suspicious look.

"Evangeline Castillo also known as Eva. Pleasure to meet you your royal highness." Evangeline responded.

"Oh, thank you. I am not queen yet but that is generous of you, Evangeline." Addy replied feeling uncomfortable.

"You're welcome, now seriously, what are you doing out here without Celeste?" Evangeline demanded.

"Trying to find Harley Rayne the woman I am supposed to marry in a few months, my newly found girlfriend that I have ended up being separated from after two days, oh what a mess it has been." Addy complained.

"I haven't seen her, let alone met the other royal highness. So, wait you two haven't even been together long enough to make love? What the heck is going on here?" Evangeline responded freaking out a bit.

"No, we haven't, we began dating and that is as far as we got. My step-mother Madison and her lover Elizabeth did that also her sister Celeste has made love to me. So, no, we haven't made love at all." Addy replied feeling frustrated with emotions.

"That is quite a shame since you are a beautiful woman." Evangeline responded smiling.

"Thank you, you are too but as of right now. I do not want anything from anyone. Not to be rude or anything but as it is, I have to track down my girlfriend and step-mother to get everything going right again." Addy replied.

"You're so welcome, do you know where to start to find these two? As a high class Vampire, I can find all sorts of information out. I'm gorgeous with brains what can I say? I love parties but love to read and learn." Evangeline responded winking at Addy.

Addy thought long and hard about where Madison would take Harley. It's not like Madison is rich and famous let alone has anywhere to hide. Addy wasn't sure where they could have gone.

"I do not know to be honest. Madison doesn't have anything fancy to get Harley's attention." Addy replied.

Addy watch Evangeline move closer to her with a whisper in Addy's ear.

"I would suggest moving on, darling. You two might be destined to rule but neither of you can stand each other or else you wouldn't have separated."

Addy moved her face slightly as Evangeline moved hers away smiling showing her beautiful fangs that glowed a wonderful white. Addy smiled back nodding in agreement to move on but she still wasn't willing to face the fact that she loves Harley. Addy decided it is best to leave Evangeline and go back to her dad's house before it became too much too bear being in the arms of another woman in less than three hours since everything came crashing down. Addy turned around to leave without looking back at Evangeline.

"Addy, wait!" Evangeline said.

"Yes?" Addy replied slowly turning back to see Evangeline coming toward her.

"Call me Eva, and would you like to go to my party tonight?" Evangeline asked.

"No, thank you, got to stay and take care of my dad. He doesn't have anyone else." Addy explained placing her head down.

Addy felt Eva lift her head with barely an inch between them of their lips nearly touching.

"Let me get everyone out of my home and I will come back for you, we can watch movies and cuddle together just be us. We don't have to do anything, honestly." Eva whispered. "Consider this new friends hanging out."

"I will see you soon then. I am going to let my dad know I will be gone this evening." Addy whispered back barely able to contain herself.

"Deal, see you soon, sweetheart." Eva planted a soft kiss on Addy's lips.

Addy gasped feeling Eva's soft lips on hers though the kiss ended quickly too as Addy felt her lips with her thumb. Snapping out of it, she went and told her dad the latest plans than got herself changed, ready to leave with Eva. Addy has no idea what to make of the evening that is soon to be expecting with a new woman that she has already landed herself with, without any intentions though Addy remembered what Celeste says about Vampires when you smell their perfume you would have to sleep with them. In this case that didn't happen it hit off really well without any sibling involved. Addy loves Harley deeply but since her past with Celeste has made everything uncomfortable, her new found friend Evangeline has become more of a breather than drama she is used to being around. Looking at the clock it read twenty until seven though it wasn't late so she has nothing to worry about besides Eva ditching her for someone else or something crazy beyond her mind that would make her sick.

Reaching nearly two hours the doorbell rang and Addy felt so nervous that she could barely make her way to answering the door. Opening the door to reveal a beautiful woman to her eyes from earlier this time with much more beauty that she could fall over fast. Addy didn't know what to say or do except just stare at Eva. Addy couldn't believe how gorgeous Eva looked in a long black gown, black high heels, and make-up that made her actually look more human than Vampire.

"Come on in Eva." Addy said politely as possible.

"No, didn't want to stay for a long time but it is good to see you are ready for this evening." Eva replied blushing.

"Dad this is Eva, Eva this is my dad..." Addy responding before Eva cut in.

"Cameron...wow! You have become a handsome gentleman in your time here. Glad to see you still around." Eva winked at Addy then shook Cameron's hand.

"Pleasure to meet you too, Eva. Now, Addy all because Harley is gone doesn't mean you should move on to fast. I want what is best for you. You two go and have fun. I am heading to bed. Good night, young ladies." Cameron said with a wave.

"At least, he is protective of your heart. Are you ready to go my lovely lady?" Eva asked.

"Yes, yes I am." Addy replied grinning.

Addy slid her hand into Eva's when Eva picked her up bridal style and went really fast to her place that went like a blur to Addy's eyes. Addy didn't expect that to happen being picked up by her feet to be moved at a fast pace to get another few blocks over from where she was at her dad's. The house looked like a mansion though Eva being popular would do it and must've been known for something. It is a big white house with brown roof, big windows, and two big double doors with wooden hearts on the front. Addy assumed it is The White House from Washington, DC. Addy had no words it looked so massive.

"Welcome to my home, Addy." Eva said smiling.

"This place is huge and you have probably flat screen television plus tons of extra bedrooms and more. I thought you would live in a small simple home but a mansion this is beyond what I imagined." Addy replied, unable to contain her excitement.

Addy felt Eva set her down then grabbing her hand and guiding her inside, the place looked empty besides a couch, a small television, and a kitchen with barely anything their. The floors were ruined completely by messes and tore out of the ground, wallpaper coming off, and just a big nasty place.

"Eva, what is going on?" Addy asked.

"My home got destroyed many years ago during an invasion of other Vampire's that would take advantage of others. I haven't been able to afford anything to fix my beautiful gorgeous home to the way it once was. The outside was easy to fix but inside it became a wreck that tore me apart." Eva replied standing strong.

"How can you afford such gorgeous clothing then? That has to be so expensive and this house needing repairs." Addy asked curiously.

"They were still securely locked in my closet when everything fell apart around me, I have been able to recover my bedroom and bathroom to make it look like what it had upstairs along with the stairs leading to the bedroom but everything else hasn't been touched since then. I am getting older, Addy, I am in my forties and for a Vampire that can still be some struggle. I am healthy just still suffering depression and anxiety from living day to day. You have ten years on me for being so gorgeous and caring." Eva replied coming up behind Addy leaving a kiss on her cheek.

"I am actually in my twenties." Addy giggled. "How much money do you make to repair this place?" Addy asked.

"You are so full of questions though it is to be expected for a young lady. Up in the human world only about as much as I can working fast food. I have to go up there to make a living like everyone else or we can't survive. I won't do pole dancing or prostitution for a living to build on this place." Eva replied smiling.

"You are one brave and courageous woman to be doing all this with a fast food job plus keeping it going with bills and such." Addy responded smiling back.

"Sweetheart, we don't pay bills due to us living for a long time and even our children's children would have a place to stay. It is all how we operate around here, didn't Celeste tell you this?" Eva asked with her own curiosity.

"Being here nearly three days, I am still learning the ropes and Celeste only showed me the University. She is now away with her girlfriend Abby and won't be back for a while. All she knows is Harley and I are still together not unless rumors spread fast here." Addy responded.

Addy watched Eva shake her head than placed her hands into Addy's as they made their way upstairs where everything is every shade of purple you can imagine. Addy felt like she belonged, knowing that she can help Eva get this place better especially have her dad live here with them. Addy's mind went racing through everything possible of every possibility that a young woman could thrive on. Addy wanted this life with Eva in a way she couldn't imagine with Harley, Harley had nothing compared to Eva, and it wasn't about the money or big place but a warming soul that felt more welcoming than her own step-mother's.

"Come on, Addy, their is more to see than standing in the hallway gawking at everything. I know it is amazing." Eva said giggling.

"Sorry, I have never seen such amazing work done to a home before." Addy replied following Eva.

Addy looked straight ahead to where the master bedroom is and Addy watched Eva open the door with a few more steps forward, she could see this wondrous bedroom but Addy stopped where she is then didn't budge anymore. Addy couldn't bring herself to go forward to that room, no matter how bad she desperately wanted to. Addy didn't understand what had stopped her.

"Addy, are you okay?" Eva asked.

"I do not know, my body won't let me move forward." Addy replied.

Addy sat down right there, crying, sobbing not understanding how she ended up stuck in a spot without going forward and she wasn't daring to go back down them stairs. It is supposed to be a fun night that ended up stalling her.
