—Bam... Bam... Bam~!*

The Wyrm's footsteps resounded through the surroundings as his form zoomed through the Dungeon floor.

"Nraeeigh!" The terrifying sound of a Horse's neigh bellowed out behind him.

'Fuck, Fuck, Fuck! Not this again...!' Once again, his trauma had been reignited as a Sea Horse was hot on his trail.

And this guy was LV 8, for Dragon God's sake! So there was little chance the Wyrm could fend him off.

The Sea Horse was also a Wyrm, so it'll probably chase him till the end of time if he couldn't manage to escape.

Fortunately, the Sea Horse had a physique that granted optimal aquatic maneuverability at the cost of land speed.

Unfortunately, with the unconscious Larry on his back, he couldn't get to maximum speed even with Heat Cover on.

"Nreaigh!" The Sea Horse shouted before an aura of pure heat emanated from its slithery body, this guy had Fire Wyrm LV 2!

—CRASH~!*

With a sudden burst of speed, the Sea Horsed lunged from behind, burning the surrounding air and crashing into the Gunelift with a loud bang.

'Shit...!' The Wym was flung to the side as he barely dodged the attack. His grip over Larry diminished as the Minion fell from his back, crashing into the floor with a thud.

"NREAIGH!!!" The Sea Horse stepped over the Minobster, completely ignoring the Minion in favor of focusing on the Anomaly.

'Sorry, Larry!' Larry himself had woken up because of the crash, one look at the current events was enough to send him bolting away in the other direction, abandoning his Master.

'...Curse you, Traitor!!!' He cursed the Minobster. Though he really couldn't blame the guy, running away was the only possible response.

"Nreigh!" The Sea Horse once again prepared a headbutt.

However, it suddenly halted its movement when an intense and overwhelming pain drowned its senses.

After a dozen or so seconds passed, the pain abruptly vanished, leaving the Gunerush a tad bit confused.

Outrage filled the Sea Horse when it saw the Anomaly. The little shit had climbed up a really tall Stalagmite!

'Hohoho! Can't catch me now, can't you!?' The Wyrm teased with an overly smug grin.

No way the damned Sea Horse could climb shit with those flippers...

'Shit...!' Yeah, it couldn't climb, but that certainly didn't stop it from making a Fireball.

The Fireball manifested in the Gunerush's tongue, many times bigger than the Wyrm's own Fireball...

The ball of flames erupted from the Sea Horse's mouth, launching itself to the top of the Stalagmite.

'Shit, Shit, Shit...! E-Expel, Expel, damn it!' Just when the Fireball was about to reach explosion distance, it abruptly ceased movement and started heading back to its source.

Shock took over the Gunerush as it tried to evade the Fireball... Unfortunately, the Sea Horse had been a tad bit too slow and was forced to eat his own breath.

—BOOM~!*

The Wyrm really had to thank his Concentration Skill. His brain activity had definitely soared since his last life, no way could that stupid shit Issei be so intuitive.

The Sea Horse fell to the ground with a thud, the Fireball had exploded in its face.

Yet it returned standing once more after a few seconds, a furious expression took over its bruised face.

'See? You can't get me, Hohoho~!' Hohoho, my ass.

That had been a close call. Were it not for his intuition, the Wyrm would have had to face the Fireball head-on, knocking him from his high ground, and reducing him to dead meat.

The Sea Horse had jilted expression on its face. It was clever enough to figure out that using another Fireball would do no good, and it couldn't climb for the love of shit...

So it simply sat down, waiting for the Gunelift to starve to death. Unlike the Shrimp, the Sea Horse could simply call one of its friends to replace his shift once he got hungry.

'Uhh... Fuck, didn't expect that...' He had been using math to calculate all of his moves leading up to this point... But damn, was he bad at counting.

A few silent minutes passed as the Wyrm continuously stared at his pursuer with annoyance.

'So we're really doing this, huh?' This was actually kind of worse than when he was in that egg.

'Alright then... If you want to wait, then wait, you fucking shitstain.' He cursed the Sea Horse before activating Chrysalis.

~〈The Spider〉~

'I'm coming, Middle Stratum. YEAAH!!!' The Spider shouted as she ran for her life, desperate enough to descend into the Middle Stratum to escape the Earth Dragon's grasp.

'Next stop is Middle Stratum. YEAAH!!!' She shouted again to build her spirit up.

Her form entered the Middle Stratum as the burning atmosphere hit her like a dump truck.

'...Ugh... This is worse than Australia...' She complained internally.

Her Fire Resistance had been enough for her to not instantly get roasted by the ambient heat. She was still being burnt inside out but luckily, her HP Auto-Recovery regenerated faster...

But the heat! the heat...

God, it was unbearable.

'I really can't go on if I don't boost my spirit... Hm, isn't that...?' The Spider stopped for a moment as she saw a rather peculiar sight.

Beside a Stalagmite that jutted out of the ground was a Gunerush... A very not awake Gunerush...

'That guy... Isn't it the same Sea Horse from before...? Oh, my baby! It's your time to shine, Altair-sama!!!' She cheered as her form entered sneak mode, slowly approaching the slumbering Wyrm.

She walked on her tippy toes as the Wyrm entered the splash zone.

'Ok... Ooooh, the Gods of Isekai! Grant me your endless power as I grant you amusement! Ultimate Final Special Skill; Venomous Strike!!!' She shouted like a Dragon as her scythe-like arm penetrated the Sea Horse's hard skin with minimal difficulty.

"NREAIGH!!!" The Gunerush jolted awake as its form shook in overwhelming pain, instinctively manifesting a Fireball in response.

'Ok, Ok! Time to die, Horsy!' She shouted before the Fireball could form.

Her arm stabbed through the Gunerush's golden-colored eyes, blood dribbled down from its cheek as its eyes exploded in gore.

『You have slain ~Elroe Gunerush︱LV 8~. Experience Points awarded.』

'Yoohoo~! Now, time for the taste test!' She said with excitement clear in her tone. Hopefully, the Monsters of the Middle Stratum tasted better.

They didn't.

'Q_Q' Tears fell from her arachnoid cheeks.

'God, it's like I'm eating an actual tire...' She complained internally.

'Now... Why was it just sleeping here...' It was out in the open, so the Gunerush's choice of residence befuddled her.

'...That's a weird-looking rock.' She commented on the weirdly shaped rock on top of the Stalagmite.

It was... It kind of looked like a Shrimp statue, a weirdly made one at that. Just looking at the thing gave her the creeps...

—Badum~!*

'Hmm... Is that another Sea Horse?' She said as she looked back.

It wasn't.

Instead, it was a fearsome Catfish.

'Uh-Oh... Uhhh, nice Pussy?' She complimented the Catfish.

—ROAAR!!!

'Not so nice Pussy! Not so nice Pussy!!!' She screamed as she barely evaded the Catfish's tailwhip.
