"Erik, come on! It's just a little favor!" The whiny sound of my constant headache echoed through my room, finally making me sigh and turned to the source of the sound; which was a blue skinned girl in a dress that was hovering in the air with a black cat in her arms.
"Klarienne, I know this is somewhat a hard concept for you to understand but I'll say it again, I have no interest in any harebrained scheme that you and my father is cooking up." I said with a sigh.
Quick info dump, my name is Erik Savage. Yes, that Savage. Meaning that I am a person with the rare misfortune of being related to Vandal Savage, an immortal caveman who has been alive since... very long ago. Not sure who my mother is, the damn brute never talked about her while I was still living with him and I had been staying away from the bastard for over a year anyway.
"It's not about Vandal! He did ask me to tell you that he wants you to come back home though." And this flying menace in my room is Klarienne the Witch-Girl. A lord of chaos of immense arcane power and other amazing abilities. The only part about her that I found amazing was the fact that she still called herself 'Witch-Girl' even though she was over a few thousand years old, a real loli baba.
"You can tell him to suck an egg." I said with a huff. "I have no interest in his 'survival of fittest' bullshit and his shady deals with maniacs."
"You do remember I am one of those maniacs he has a deal with, right?" Klarienne asked with a raised eyebrow and I stared into her eyes.
"Your point being?"
"Nothing, just wanted you to know." Klarienne shrugged. "More importantly, I really need you to go somewhere and make sure that one of my colleagues does not get to enter this dimension!"
"And by colleague you mean..."
"Another lord of chaos, yes!" Klarienned yelled before crossing her arms over her chest. "It was bad enough when that old timer Mordru came to fight the Justice Society, I don't need another chaos lord in this dimension cramping my style!"
"And also because the cosmic balance will cause you to grow weaker since two lords of chaos would be an advantage against eldest brother dearest and his precious order." I deadpanned at the melodramatic chaos lord.
"Yeah, that too. So you need to make sure he can't get in!" She cried out before glaring at me.
"Also, didn't I tell you to never mention that sour pants Nabu in my presence?!" She said with her arms waving around.
On one hand, I really did not want to deal with this shit. On the other hand, the world had enough problems with only Klarienne causing mischief around; not to mention she supposedly had mellowed out in the last few hundred years. I really did not want to imagine what kind of madness would follow if another lord of chaos entered the equation.
"Where exactly is this 'someplace' you need me to go?" I asked.
"So you accept?!"
"Not yet." I shot her down immediately. I just wanted to know if the place would be worth dealing with all the trouble, it already had the plus of being away from Klarienne anyway. "Just tell me where I'm supposed to go."
"It's around the Pacific Northwest, called Gravity Falls."
"...what?" That was my reaction, mostly because I knew Gravity Falls. Except it wasn't supposed to exist in this universe.
"Yeah I know, stupid name. It does have a field of inter dimensional energy covering it though, so it has some cool attractions." Oh great, she really was talking about the Gravity Falls that I used to watch before the whole 'dying and reincarnating as the son of a supervillain in a comic universe' thing. Damn.
"...okay, I'll go." I said with a sigh and raised my hand before Klarienne could start her celebration. "But I have a condition."
"Ahh, I guess this day was inevitable." The lord of chaos said with a solemn look as she gripped the skirt of her dress. "As you wish Erik, I accept your condition." She said.
"You can see my panties!" She yelled as she tried to lift her skirt, only for her arms to stay in their places as I chopped at them with a glare.
"Nothin like that!" I gritted out, unable to even find a proper insult for her. "I want you to get me some magical artifacts. You're a lord of chaos, pretty sure that you lot have some god like artifacts that you forgot about."
"Hmm, sure why not? I think I have some of the rings of that horny king lying around, deal with the interloper issue and I'll give you those and more." Klarienne said with a smirk as she clapped her hands. "Shouldn't be too hard, you are a pretty good sorcerer after all. For a mortal anyway."
"Thanks." I said drolly, she was far too much to deal with.
"By the way, you gonna need somewhere to stay, you sure you're not gonna talk with Vandal?" She asked with a tilt of her head and I smiled up at her.
"Nah, I have a pretty good idea on where I'm gonna stay already."
----------------------
"Yes yes, I understand, now do as I say and buy that moron's company!" Her father said to his phone before putting it away as they rode in their limo, he likely was destroying some new company that had interfered with their interests.
Though the mere fact that he had to do that meant that he would be in a bad mood for a while, meaning it would be better for Pacifica to spend most of her time in her room.
They silently got off of their limo and walked walked towards the door of the mansion, not paying much mind to the peacocks around; though she was kinda surprised that the ocean blue ones were out instead of the Turkish blue ones.
Her thoughts about the peacocks were cut off short as they entered the mansion and saw somebody sitting in one of the more expensive sofas!
"Well, took you guys long enough." The boy, maybe a year or two older than Pacifica, said with a deadpan as he got up from the sofa. Which snapped her father out of his confusion and made anger appear on his face.
"I don't know who you are but to think that you would dare… to…" Her father's words got slower and slower till he stopped talking with a dull look on his face.
"Yeah yeah, something something dare dare; we've all been there man." The stranger said with a smile as he walked up to her father and patted him on the shoulder. "Thanks for allowing me to stay by the way." His words snapped her father out of his trance and he… smiled at the stranger?
"It is my pleasure, lord Eric." He said with a big smile and Pacifica felt her legs grow weaker and start to shake, she did not understand what was going on.
"Course it is, now move along." The stranger pushed her father forward and the Pacifica patriarch walked out of the room.
"Pacifica right?" The stranger said with a smile and glowing eyes as Pacifica could only stare at him. "Nice to meet you, we'll be seeing each other lots these days." He said and walked out of the room, during which Pacifica's legs finally lost all of their strength and she fell to her knees.
For the first time in her life, afraid of someone who wasn't her father while in the mansion.
