With the intensity of an exploding volcano, Jen went off on the idiot that dared to call me a fvcking barbarian right in my face. It was a good thing I'd been called worse. If not, this guy's ass wouldn't even last a second if I ever choose to lay it on to him.
"Listen to the kid, sir," I moved forward, leaning on the counter while making sure that the knife was flashing in front of me. "We wouldn't want any... untoward incident to ever happen to you now, don't we?"
"T-Threats? You're threatening me?!"
"If you put it like that, then maybe I am," I flashed the fatso a thinly-veiled grin as I played with the knife in my hands. "Quite frankly, however, I'd prefer it if we called it... a negotiation, yes?"
The so-called leader of the merchant guild visibly sweated at the insinuation I was giving out. Or maybe it was the heat starting to get to him. Either way, I had the initiative in this conversation.
"Rouge?"
