It all started with ancient ruins found within Antartica that were forgotten by the world on purpose.
The ruins were explored, but the warning signs were found too late.
The glyphs on the wall read, "Those who enter here shall face gods wrath what long ago was closely avoided."
Then came the disease, and it ended up killing most of the population.
Over the next few months, the glaciers melted, causing the waters to rise.
At last, what was the worst part was the chaotic weather that destroyed everything ending humanity
Surprisingly, Lucan was the last human alive, although at the time, he was already on his deathbed due to his weak constitution.
It was in the night when the chaotic storm he passed away his soul being wisked into an eternal darkness.
...
In a garden near an apple tree
an old man whose name forgotten sits on an elegant chair under the tree, holding a fruit weakly.
a large blue portal opens and in walks a gigantic man standing about 20 ft tall he looks at the old man with a sad expression
"It seems you were right, Titan. This world wouldn't last without my presence," says the old man
"You gave up on the world after flooding it long ago, yet you decided to give a chance to noah, and he won despite your expectations. this world would have been better off had you not slain the other gods giving the humans false hope you would help them when you abandoned them." Titan
"You were right, but what i did was unforgivable so i could never be with them. I wonder why they brought their own doom. Since i am dying, take the soul of the last human. may they help you in your endeavors, " old man
"Take care, Zeus, and may you find peace as you fade away forever forgotten. I shall give them a chance in the world of my pantheon." Titan
Titan walked away through a portal
...
(Lucan pov)
It was a dark space he lasted all alone for what felt like an eternity.
Lucan couldn't move. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't move or speak like there was a vacuum holding him in that singular spot and keeping him from speaking.
After what felt like an eternity, a ginormous hand reached over and grabbed Lucan from his spot and carried him into a portal before placing him down to a beautiful scene of trees and plants potted in pots larger than imaginable and in the center stood a throne with a giant sitting he was larger than lucan could have ever imagined.
The giant grins while looking at Lucan
"Worry not, you will be reborn into another world as part of the strongest races a giant or to be more exact you will be a half-giant or like you will likely be called a goliath."
"My name is Julios, the god of the giants."
In Lucan's mind,'This is the weirdest dream I've ever had, I'll wake up soon, at least i hope.'
"Trust me, this is no dream. I only grabbed you soon after your death to give you another chance."
In a state of panic,'This can't be, I last remember going to sleep I should have woken up before anything happened.'
calmly,'It makes sense now there was no one left, my family and friends all died from the disease, and I barely survived alone.'
"Hahaha, just as I thought your kind do think differently from the humans of my world."
"Before I send you away 2 things, I need to get your soul up to size for your body to be, and I will give you a boon to help you."
Julios then stood up and walked over to a tree, reaching over and grabbing a golden fruit.
Walking over to Lucan, he handed over the fruit.
"Depending on you, your soul will grow and gain an attribute."
lucan didn't know how, but he managed to absorb the fruit. soon after his senses became hazy as his soul began to get bigger, taking on a light blue color.
"It seems you've taken on traits of a frost giant. Sadly, now adays, the different types of giants are now forgotten, and they now see themselves as only warriors forgetting their past of magical ability. You will take on ice magic as a natural. As for my boon, due to the forgotten magic of giants, I will bestow you giant fire and storm magic." Julios reaches out and touches traces 2 glyphs on the soul representing fire and a thunderstorm.
soon after lucans vision faded to a darkness, noticing a dark figure, then fading to a warm area.
