After waking up I immediately grab my phone, incidentally I fell asleep with my ac and lights on.

Chuckling as I typed already anticipating wasting a night of sleep for text session I receive another notification.

Now, my heart skipped a beat and I could only go down stairs and get the front door for her. There she was in her new clothes and accessories. All name brand items. It was as I feared when I received the text- no let me not raise that flag yet.

I appear as usual and ignore the signs.

"Hey Eun Ae." I give her a hug as usual and everything seems fine until after she hugs me and we separate she calls me and continues seriously and her tone and expression reluctant.. of course.

"Jin- let's break up. You've done nothing wrong it's just... I found someone. There was a spark ya know?"

I knew it, I can't trust anyone in this age with my feelings. Sincerity is treated like this. A spark? You feel a spark with everyone Eun Ae. Same way you felt with your sister. I didn't say my thoughts however and simply replied with a sigh.

"Ok." I didn't want to chat any further and hoped it would end there but of course not.

"Jin, listen. Don't look at me like that. Times change and so do people. I have everything I want with my new boy friend."

I raise an eyebrow at her outfit after giving it a once over.

"So what? Are you jealous? My man can do what you never could. He's rich and buys me anything I want. He has influence and power, something you don't have."

I was going to say something but I keep my mouth shut.

"I'm giving you a chance you idiot! Fucking -" She coughs and blood splatters on the pavement my worries instantly over whelm my sadness from before. I go to her side and usher her in to help her out.

I didn't expect it or know what to think. As she sat on the couch I brought her water and then proceeded to make anything I thought would help.

I left the kitchen to check on her and she was in thought until she saw me.

"I don't really want to leave you Jinwha, it's just my circumstances."

Not wanting to sigh again or complain about the spark she spoke of I simply dodged the topic.

"You ok? What was that about?"

"Its nothing. Please don't evade me Jinwha. I came to talk to you."

I guess I can't dodge it. And she's already here. I look up at my ceiling before I loom at her to answer.

"I don't know what to say. You're leaving me, Eun Ae. Isn't that a trend these years?"

I go to the kitchen and bring her back a cup of tea and smile but it feels bitter.

"You're going with who has the most money I can't blame you."

She looks at me and stands up, she almost falls but as I go to catch her she stops me and stands weakly on her own but her steps are full of resolve and her eyes conviction.

"Jinwha... No one will pity you, if you want something you mustn't keep it in, you should keep it close to your heart. Never hesitate. And act on it." She firmly held my gaze, it was brief but the exchange was enough to ignite a permanent change in me.

After that she fainted and my previous stiffness was thrown away.

I caught her and gently wrapped her in my arms.
