　　After discussing with Amelia, I go and report to the alpha. I knock on the door and wait until Kahn answers. I open the door and see him lying in the armchair as if all his strength has gone and he is just a broken doll. “ Alpha.” Kahn seems to be waking up by me. He rouses himself and sits up straighter. “ How is Cody?” I lower my head. I am reluctant to see his sad face. He is a father now, a father who is about to lose his son. No matter how powerful he used to be, now he is helpless as any other father who is about to lose his son in the world. People always say he is cruel to Cody and his mother, but I know he really loves Cody and his mother. However, unfortunately, he doesn’t know how to express his love and control his emotions.
