He vows to kill those who have wronged him, planning to take vengeance upon the God who did this to him. But is that the only tragedy that will befall, the only God that he will vow to vengeance against? What truly awaits this man in this new world fraught with dangers and the unknown? Will he let go of his anger and live his life, or will he be consumed by rage and continuously seek his vengeance? Will he successfully kill a God? Read this man's story. Broken Body

"Fuckin coward ran. That damn storm better pray it never comes across me again. I swear that I will turn it into a mist over these mountains." Arthur mutters through gritted teeth as he still stood in the same spot he did hours ago. His body is unresponsive to his commands. Blood caked on his body, covering him from head to toe.

Arthur then looks around the best he can in his situation. "Where the hell did that little fox go, by the way? Did she get herself killed in the battle? That would be a waste." He mutters aloud in wonderment.

"I am not dead! I am very much alive! Don't go killing me off!" A screech of a voice soon comes out from the other side of a pile of rocks that once was part of a mountain.

Soon enough, a pair of fox ears is seen sprouting over the pile. Then followed by a beautiful female and multiple fox tails. She scrambles over the destruction carefully and slowly so as not to trip and fall into the endless abyss behind Arthur. She wouldn't be able to jump out like he did.

"What took you so long?" Arthur asks in befuddlement.

"Huh, unlike you, I don't have endless strength and durability! I got buried and trapped in that cave I was hiding in amidst the battle. It took me forever to get myself out! And then I see all this destruction around; it is like Athesia herself tested a new spell here." Lily says, fuming in exasperation at the nonsense around her.

"Yeah, it was great, wasn't it?!" Arthur says with a happy and proud smile while nodding at all the destruction around him.

"Great, my ass! This area can't even be considered part of the mountains anymore! It is more like a barren wasteland smack dab in the middle of the other mountains. What is great about this?!" Lily replies in a loud voice laced with anger as she slowly approaches Arthur.

"Well, I had fun." Arthur shamelessly replies with a helpless look.

"Fun. Yeah, fun; of course, that is what he says after all this. Even with himself in the state he is in, where he looks half-dead and unable to move. He says fun. I don't think I like that word anymore. It is kind of terrifying." Lily begins to mutter incoherently as she steps right in front of Arthur, examining his condition.

"Hey, careful there, that hurts a little." Arthur points out as she touches the wound on his eye.

"A little?! It should be hurting a lot! I mean, how are you even alive?! Anything normal would be dead as dead can be! Your body shouldn't be standing." She says with her mouth open wide in wonderment.

"What can I say, I am different." Arthur replies with a smirk.

"Shut up." She says with a frown and scrunched forehead." It looks like almost every bone in your body is broken. Your left eye is useless, having something cut right through it all the way down to your stomach. Not only that, but you have lost the majority of your blood and have a ruptured spleen."

"Oh, that sounds pretty bad." He says back nonchalantly.

"For sure, as I have no idea how you are alive, let alone conscious. This breaks everything I understand about life. But, I guess I will try to use healing magic to help you recover, at least to where you can move again. It will take time, though." She says as she begins to ready her magic.

"How long? I wish to be able to fight again soon. I am raring to go another round! Especially with that coward cloud of a bastard." Arthur says through clenched teeth in anger at the thought of the runaway.

"At least a whole day. And that is when using all my mana. I have to fix all these bones so you can move again. Oh, and this will be painful. Usually, this is only done on corpses." She states without remorse.

A yellowish light then appears around her hands as it starts to seep into the body of Arthur, who begins to groan in pain as snapping sounds resonate from his body repeatedly. Each snap and crunch is from a bone being put back into place, no matter how small.

"I am surprised you're not yelling out in pain. Or even passed out? This should be unbearable for any living thing." She states in amazement and surprise.

"This is nothing for me. Pain is just an everlasting memory to me." Arthur says with a slight scrunch of his face and some light groans.

"Wow. I guess you have had a terrible and painful life to say something like that." She says in a somewhat apologetic voice.

"I guess. Something like that." Arthur says, not wanting to say anything more on the matter.

"Oh, by the way, what was that last attack you did? I was watching the battle through one of my spells, and I saw your attack. It looked like magic, and I thought you didn't know magic." Lily suddenly asks, changing the topic.

"It wasn't magic. It was just pure force generated from my spear and how I was moving it. I was spinning my spear fast and strong enough with my fingers that I was able to form something akin to a black hole at the tip of my spear. I then thrust with it, shooting it out with my normal ranged attack." Arthur says, struggling to explain it himself.

"Eh?! A black hole? What is that? And with pure force? How is something like that even possible?" She asks incessantly, even stopping her magic for a moment before she begins again.

"Err, well, think of it like a very powerful and unstoppable force of nature out in space. Something that can destroy planets and even suns. Of course, what I did was nowhere near the actual power and destructiveness of an actual black hole, but just mimics its properties a little. I do hope to become strong enough to create an actual black hole through my spear, though." Arthur states calmly with a dreamy tone.

"Such powerful things exist outside the planet? I always wondered if there were things that even the gods were powerless against out there." Lily says in a voice tinged with excitement at the idea of power.

"Yeah, even gods would probably die from a true black hole. Those things are ridiculously dangerous. That and white holes, which are the opposite but just as dangerous, if not more so." Arthur states as he stares off into the sky as Lily continues to try and heal him.
