"Shohoku vs. Miuradai high's game about to start!!" the announcer said. Game is about to begin. The first five players of both teams are already in the center of the court and the referee is also ready for the jump ball.

"Yeah!!!" Miuradai's captain led his team, as they shouted to loosen up.

On the other side, Akagi as captain of Shohoku and Kogure along w/ three more sophomores are the starters. "Let's go!!"

Both team captains did jump for the ball. "Yeah!!!"

Hikoichi said. "Game's about to start and I gottta pay attention!!"

"Can you keep it down! Hikoichi!!" Koshino said.

Hikoichi sat back down to his seat. "Sorry Koshino-senpai, It's Shohoku's ball!!"

"Akagi's responsible for the jump ball! The only one that can match up to Akagi is Uozomi-senpai!" Hikoichi said.

Kogure got the ball, he dribbles it and said. "Good let's begin attacking!!"

Shohoku members' replies, "Yes!!!"

"These aren't Shohoku's regular starters, Rukawa and Sakuragi actually on the bench." Uozumi said.

"I want change everybody! Get 5 players to warm-up!!" Miuradai's coach was too confident this time.

"Before we play against Kainan, we can't go easy. We have to win big this game!!' Miuradai's coach said.

"Akagi, who's was that!? Our goal is this year's number one team and get into Interhigh games!!"

You guys just played well w/ Ryonan but that doesn't mean you'll beat us!! We aren't like those Ryonan!!" Miuradai's captain said.

"Those Ryonan? Akagi what the heck are you doing? Uozumi stood up and said.

Everyone's was caught by the power play of Miuradai that they even using half of their strength. Since it's only the beginning of the match, it won't be impossible to catch up the score in the mind of the Akagi.

"Tighten up the defense here!! Defend it!!" Miuradai's captain give the defensive order to players inside.

"Child's play!!" Gori/Akagi shot was blocked but a Miuradai player hit him in the face, as he gone to block.

"Che! That was a foul!" Miuradai player reluctantly raise his hand. "It's a one man team, that's easy money! No matter how good Akagi is, we just have to keep him busy.

Sendoh getting his drink in the vending machine and said "I think they won't lose on their first match..."

Walking to the same vending machine, Maki asked "Hey Sendoh, how's Shohoku doing? The guys that gave you guys some trouble?

"Hmph! Yo shorty! I'm going to shoot here so come defend me! Miuradai player has been taunting the opponent ever since leading the game.

"You!" Yasuda replied. Affected by the provocation, Miuradai player shoots an open three and "Swish!!"

"Great shot!!" Miuradai lead by nine points already and may reach to double digits anytime.

"Oh no! Why are they doing so badly?" Ayako said.

".... All of you! Have learnt your lesson?" Coach Anzai asked the problematic children,

"Won't fight anymore?" he asked.

"Stop that, Sakuragi!! I will never, sensei." Mitsui has regretted his past actions and wants play seriously under his guidance.

"Maybe!" Rukawa said.

"Shohoku substitution!!" announcer said.

Hikoichi said, "It's them!!"

"Time to shoot some threes!!" Mitsui said.

"They're going to lose for sure!! Miyagi said.

"The victory is finally here!! Sakuragi said.
