On the day of the game, 6 o' clock in the morning and Sakuragi like everyone is nervous w/ his first game.

"I can't sleep" he couldn't get to sleep that night until morning.

Jogging around his neighborhood and loosen up his body. "The day has finally come! It is today when the genius Sakuragi will shine in the nationals!!"

"In order for me to be in the condition, I the genius Sakuragi will go warm up. A genius is really different!! I'm already better than anyone from this!! Hmm..." Sakuragi imagined the scene of the introduction of the players.

"Their cheering is nothing compared to yours! Haruko-chan..." he said.

"Haruko-chan..." the two are having sweet time in the middle of the court.

"Your cheer can withstand a whole crowd..." He's was imagining the whole thing, on the road some spotted him and decided to greet him.

"Sakuragi-kun!" Haruko said.

"Haruko-chan!!" Sakuragi finally notice her, wearing a casual clothes and also on her way to the park.

"Good morning! You're training early in the morning!" she asked.

"Yeah!! 2x" he mind was blank for a second and could only reply yes to her. The two jogged together while talking about the upcoming Kanagawa tournament.

"Sakuragi-kun the Kanagawa tournament is finally here!! I think we have a chance this year." she said.

"Really?" She really has a lot of hope in this genius Sakuragi!! He said to himself.

"Yeah, first we have Rukawa-kun joining the team, would be a lot of help and he's a super rookie. I believe that our team has some of the top players in Kanagawa." She said.

"Kanagawa's top players? He asked.

"#4 Akagi Takenori (3rd year) is standing at 197 cm, weighing 90 kg and the position center. Akagi is practicing freethrow before the game this morning.

"#Miyagi Ryota (2nd year) is standing at 168 cm, weighing 59 kg and the position point guard. Miyagi this time just finish taking a bath and looked at a picture of a girl.

"Good morning, Ayako. I'll do my best in this game." Miyagi said.

"#11 Rukawa (1st year) is standing at 187 cm, weighing 75 kg and the position is forward. He's riding his bicycle but fall asleep while listening to music and hit parked car's side mirror.

"Those three in Kanagawa can be considered as one of the best. It kinda feels weird complimenting my big brother... there's still one! It's Mitsui-senpai.

"#11 Mitsui Hisashi (3rd year) is standing at 184 cm, weighing 70 kg and the position is forward. Looking at his new dentures, his smile was kinda weird and said. "Let's shoot a lot of threes later..."

"This year our team will be good and strong. Also there's Sakuragi-kun and I'm the one who got you to join the team. I believe I didn't choose the wrong person." she said.

"Huhuhu... No problem, Haruko-chan. Coz I'm a genius" he showed a v signed to her.

"Go for it, Sakuragi-kun." She said.

"I'll work harder, Haruko-chan." He replied.

Inside the arena, all team in Kanagawa are gathered here as they start the new season.

"All set, everyone let's go! Akagi lead the team in boosting up the morale of the team.

"It's Shohoku!"

"That's Akagi!? He's really huge guy."

"I heard that they lost to Ryonan by just one point!"

"It's that true?"

"Who's that red head?"

"Such a weird guy!"

"It's Ryonan! They're here!"

"I have to get my revenge on Maki!! Shohoku team is nothing!! Let's go team!!" said by the captain of Miuradai.
