Valentines Day

(It was February 13th when Lynnon left Dallas after a week of staying at Nana's. They had made up and told each other everything that had happened over lost time. When Lynnon lands, it was 11 am the next day. Valentine's day... Lynnon texts Ezekiel as requested but didn't get a reply back)

Lynnon-" He must be in class. I won't bother him then"

(Lynnon's ankle was finally healed and she was feeling good. She heads back to the apartment. She rolls her stuff over to her room and when she thought of flopping onto her bed she sees something already taking up the space. She walks up and on her bed was a gift bag with white and red tissue paper. Lynnon smiled at it because there was no pink like any usual valentines gift from someone. Ezekiel knew that pink wasn't exactly her FAVORITE color. To its right was a small, gold, box of chocolates with a red ribbon on it. Lastly, there was a white card. His handwriting's so nice Lynnon thought as she picked it up and observed Ezekiel's name signed in maroon-colored ink smack dab in the middle. She opens it and reads the short and sweet message)

Lynnon-" To my lovely Bear. I wish you a good Valentine's day. Love, Ezekiel"

(Lynnon blushes at his romantic side but her mind then wandered off to that same devastating question, What if he doesn't love me back. her smile fades but she continues to open her gifts. Inside the small, flat bag was one thing only. A small blue case. Curious, Lynnon opens it and was startled by what she had seen)

Lynnon-" That's... diamond"

(Inside the blue casing was a Three-Stone Drop Diamond Pendant in 18k Rose Gold (1 ct. tw.). Lynnon's eyes widen as she laid her eyes upon it. She touched it cautiously, afraid to touch something so expensive. She quickly closed the box and went on researching the necklace)

Lynnon-" WHAT THE HELL!"

(Later in the day, Ezekiel's leaves the college entrance to see Lynnon waiting for him)

Ezekiel-" Lynnon!"

(Ezekiel rushes up to her)

Ezekiel-" You're back! You didn't text-"

(Ezekiel checks his phone and there very well was a notification from Lynnon)

Ezekiel-" Oh never mind..."

Lynnon-" Ezekiel are you crazy?!"

(Ezekiel looks up at her confused)

Ezekiel-" Excuse me?"

(Lynnon pulls out the blue case)

Ezekiel-" Oh, so you got it?"

Lynnon-" You have to take this back!"

(Ezekiel looks up at her)

Ezekiel-" What?"

Lynnon-" You have to take it back! Return it or... give it to someone else! Like Mei o-or that girl at your job, Etsuko!"

(Ezekiel becomes a bit disappointed)

Ezekiel-" Did you not like it?"

Lynnon-" What? No! I mean... yes! It's just... this is so expensive and-"

Ezekiel-" Well then keep it. It's a gift"

Lynnon-" Ezekiel this is literally a thousand dollar necklace! Why would you spend so much money on a necklace?! I would've been perfectly fine with you getting me earrings from Claires or something but this?!"

Ezekiel-" I wanted to get you something special"

(Lynnon sighs)

Lynnon-" I feel bad. You should get your money back"

(Ezekiel grabs the case)

Ezekiel-" I don't need my money back. I bought this for YOU so it's yours"

(Ezekiel opens the case and grabs the necklace. After, he grabs Lynnons hand and pulls her towards him before turning her around. Her being so close to him got some people's attention. Some began to talk but they couldn't hear them over all the others walking and talking around the area. Ezekiel slowly moves Lynnons hair to her right, revealing her bare neck. He had to control himself. He then takes the necklace around the front of Lynnon then puts it back together in the back)

Ezekiel-" There"

(Lynnon turns back around and looks down at the necklace. It felt unnatural with Lynnon's less formal outfit but it still looked nice)

Ezekiel-" It looks beautiful on you"

(Lynnon became really flustered)

Ezekiel-" I should've bought you an outfit to match. I should make you wear that"

(Lynnon snapped out of it and punched Ezekiel. He began to laugh)

Ezekiel-" I'm joking!"

(The two of them settle down)

Ezekiel-" Now cmon"

Lynnon-" Wait"

Ezekiel-" What?"

Lynnon-" Well... thank you..."

(Ezekiel smiles at her before taking her to the car, breaking the gaze of the many who were watching them. The two of them get in the car and Ezekiel drives them somewhere Lynnon's been wanting to go to for a while)

Lynnon-" The skatepark? But-"

Ezekiel-" I talked to your doctor. You're free to skate now"

(Lynnon became ecstatic)

Lynnon-" Really?! Omg omg omg!"

(Ezekiel smiled at her excitement while he took her brace off for her. She then finally moves her ankle around)

Lynnon-" Woah that feels weird"

(Lynnon giggles. She quickly gets used to her free ankle and gets out of the car but then realizes something)

Lynnon-" Wait I don't have my stuff"

(She then quickly turns back at Ezekiel with a sad expression but he had already had the trunk open and was looking at her with a smirk. He pointed at the inside and Lynnon quickly became excited again. She happily and weirdly walked over to the trunk and grabbed all her stuff. She sits on the edge of the trunk and quickly puts her knee and elbow pads on along with her helmet right after. She grabs her board and rushes over to her favorite ramp while Ezekiel finishes putting everything back at the car)

Lynnon-" Cmon Ezekiel!"

(Ezekiel comes back to see Lynnon already on the ramp, having the time of her life)
