Covers Blown

(After about two weeks, Hikaru and Lynnon didn't talk at all. She had gotten over the situation but that didn't mean she liked Hikaru anymore. She wakes up one day to Ezekiel placing a plate of food down on her nightstand. She stretches and talks weirdly because of it)

Lynnon-" Good morning~"

(Ezekiel chuckles at her funny but cute bedhead)

Ezekiel-" Morning"

(Lynnon moves her leg a small bit and straight away, a bit of pain rushes through her ankle. Lynnon flinches and sharply inhales. Ezekiel looks at her, then her ankle)

Ezekiel-" Is it hurting?"

(Lynnon silently nods, barely able to move)

Ezekiel-" Did you want to sit up?"

Lynnon-" I was trying to…"

(Suddenly Ezekiel walks right next to her and leans down. He slides one arm under her back and the other arm under her legs)

Ezekiel-" Try to keep your foot straight"

(Lynnon wraps her arm around Ezekiel's neck for more support. He picks her up a small bit and slides her up, sitting her down in the way she wanted)

Ezekiel-" Better?"

Lynnon-" Mhm"

Ezekiel-" I guess I'll have to carry you quite a bit while taking care of you hm?"

Lynnon-" I-I guess…"

(Ezekiel looks down at her ankle)

Ezekiel-" It'll be like this every day. It's bound to be more sore and stiff in the mornings"

(Lynnon groans)

Lynnon-" Ughhh~ Why did I have to hurt my ankle in the first place. This sucks!"

(Ezekiel chuckles)

Ezekiel-" I KNOW it sucks"

(Ezekiel guiltily smiles at Lynnon. He turns back around and grabs the food. He offers it to Lynnon)

Ezekiel-" Now eat"

Lynnon-" Here?"

Ezekiel-" I mean do you really want to be using your crutches now? You just woke up"

Lynnon-" Well no but I don't really want to eat here. I don't want to get the bed dirty. You would just have to do ANOTHER thing"

(Happily sighs)

Ezekiel-" You care too much about other things. You should care more about YOUR wellbeing"

(Ezekiel puts the plate back down and again leans down in front of Lynnon. He slides his hands under her legs and back again, then waits for her to wrap her arm around his neck. She freezes and becomes surprised)

Ezekiel-" Well cmon. You don't want to eat here so I'll move you to the living room"

Lynnon-" Fine fine. But I'm just saying-"

(Lynnon wraps her arm around his neck and he cautiously picks her up)

Lynnon-" I could've just walked there myself"

(Ezekiel walks her to the living room and sits her down on the couch)

Ezekiel-" It doesn't bother me taking a little extra care of you. I've sprained my ankle before and believe me when I say, It's much better to be spoiled like this than have to basically deal with it by yourself. I wish I had some good looking, nice, dashing, person to take care of me"

(Lynnon smiles and rolls her eyes)

Lynnon-" Big ego much?"

(Ezekiel laughs before leaving to get Lynnon's food. As he gives it to her, the two of them hear a knock on the door)

Ezekiel-" One second"

(Ezekiel walks to the entrance far behind the couch Lynnon was sitting on. He opens the door and Lynnon listens closely. Ezekiel's eyes enlarge)

Ezekiel-" Mei?!"

(Lynnons eyes enlarge right after as well and she quickly shimmies down, hiding behind the back of the couch so Mei couldn't see her)

Mei-" Hey big brother!"

Ezekiel-" W-What are you doing here?"

(Mei lets herself in and Ezekiel hesitantly closes the door. He looks at the couch then to not see Lynnon. He then looks back at Mei)

Mei-" I just came to chill out. I got bored again. I would've gone to Lynnon but I don't know where she lives, she turned off her Chatsnap location because of last time, and she's injured"

(Mei gasps)

Mei-" Did you know Lynnon sprained her ankle. I feel so bad for her"

Ezekiel-" I'm aware"

Mei-" So you've talked to her, yeah? When?"

Ezekiel-" Um... recently?"

(Ezekiel says nervously. Mei crosses her arms)

Mei-" Aren't you her boyfriend or something? You should be taking care of her"

(Ezekiel becomes flustered)

Ezekiel-" Mei, we're not-"

Mei-" ooooo~ Are you getting flustered big brother?"

(From the couch, Lynnon was also blushing. She was covering her mouth to make sure she didn't make any noise)

Mei-" Either way. You guys are SO close. It just seems natural for SOMEONE to take care of her"

Ezekiel-" Yeah..."

(Mei begins to walk towards the couch and Ezekiel begins to panic)

Mei-" Maybe you could call her over here. You could take care of her!"

(Mei reaches closer and closer to Lynnons hiding spot. Mei gasps again)

Mei-" What if she has a secret boyfriend taking care of her right now? You should call her quick so you don't miss a chance!"

(Mei was right there. She places her hand on the edge of the couch, ready to sit down. Lynnon's eyes enlarge and she looks up)

Ezekiel-" Mei wait!"

(Mei turns her head and looks back at Ezekiel. He closes his eyes and has a sigh of relief)

Mei-" Cmon, I wanna watch TV"

(Ezekiel's eyes shoot open to see Mei looking surprisingly down at someone. He knew their secret was no longer a secret between them anymore)

Mei-" Lynnon?"

(Lynnon slowly takes her hand off her mouth revealing her nervous smile. She doesn't say a word and just waves at surprised Mei)
