Birthday Trip pt.2

Lynnon-" I'm just gonna stay here... tan?"

Ezekiel-" Tan? You're already tan. What for?"

(Ezekiel walks back a bit as Lynnon stays a bit silent)

Ezekiel-" What's wrong?"

Lynnon-" Nothing!"

Ezekiel-" Lynnon..."

(Lynnon looks up at him who was now bending down in front of her)

Ezekiel-" What's WRONG? Are you sick?"

(Ezekiel touches her forehead)

Ezekiel-" You don't have a fever"

Lynnon-" I'm not sick"

(Lynnon grabs his hand and takes it off her forehead. Lynnon focuses on the still ocean water. Ezekiel notices and looks back at it)

Ezekiel-" Are you afraid of the ocean?"

Lynnon-" What? No, that's ridiculous! I just can't swim"

(Lynnons eyes widen and she covers her mouth. Ezekiel turns his head back around and looks at her. He didn't make fun of her one bit. He didn't even laugh)

Ezekiel-" You can't swim?"

(Lynnon freezes)

Ezekiel-" If you can't, it's nothing to be embarrassed about. Plenty of people can't swim"

(Lynnon slowly calms down and takes her hand off her mouth)

Ezekiel-" You aren't afraid though, right?"

Lynnon-" Well no... but I'd rather not risk anything"

Ezekiel-" You won't be risking ANYTHING"

(Ezekiel stands back up and pulls Lynnon up on her feet. He holds her hand as they walk into the water Lynnon stops when the water gets up to her waist. Ezekiel looks back at her and she was looking around a bit terrified)

Lynnon-" I-I don't think I'm gonna go anymore..."

Ezekiel-" You can still stand"

(Lynnon shakes her head still looking at the water)

Lynnon-" I'm just... kinda terrified right now"

(Ezekiel walks up to her)

Ezekiel-" Just look at me ok. Focus only on me"

(Ezekiel then bends down)

Lynnon-" Ezekiel, what are you doing-"

(Suddenly Ezekiel picks Lynnon up and carries her while she hugs him in front. He then begins to walk further out)

Lynnon-" Ezekiel... EZEKIEL! Go back, go back!"

Ezekiel-" It's ok! I'm carrying you, you'll be fine"

(Lynnon hugs him tight and whimpers)

Lynnon-" Please go back! EZEKIEL I SWEAR!"

(Ezekiel stops when he had his whole body except shoulders and up submerged in the water)

Lynnon-" We're too far!"

Ezekiel-" Calm down, you're ok! The waters still so nothings going to happen to you"

Lynnon-" No, I wanna go back!"

(Lynnon kept her body as close to Ezekiel's as she could, fearing she would separate from him and drown. Ezekiel held her head and kissed it after they had stood there for at least 30 seconds)

Ezekiel-" See, nothing happened"

Lynnon-" You're so mean"

Ezekiel-" Ok ok, I'll go back now"

(Ezekiel walks back to shore and he got fully onto the sand. Lynnon still didn't let go of him)

Ezekiel-" Bear, we're not in the water anymore"

(Lynnon only hugged tighter)

Ezekiel-" Were you really that scared?"

Lynnon-" YES!"

Ezekiel-" I was there with you. I told you the truth, didn't I?"

(Ezekiel sighs and sits down on the towel that was in the shade of the umbrella. He then begins to rub Lynnons back)

Ezekiel-" I'm sorry"

Lynnon-" I DON"T accept your apology"

Ezekiel-" You're still hugging me though-"

(Lynnon shut him up by squeezing him tight)

Ezekiel-" Ok I get it!"

(Lynnon loosens up. Ezekiel lays down since he knew Lynnon wouldn't let go for a while. Somehow he drifted off to sleep and by the time he woke up, it was nearly dusk. It was cold out with them being close to the water and it becoming windier. The waves finally began to come in and some water splashed on them every now and then, not making the cold any better. He then focuses on Lynnon. She was FREEZING but still asleep)

Ezekiel-" Shit..."

(Ezekiel quickly gets up and rushes Lynnon over to the house. He lays her down on the couch while he ran to get warm water flowing in the bathtub. When it was finally done, he checked to see that the water wasn't too hot before going to get Lynnon. She was still asleep which was unbelievable. He picks her up and walks her over to the bath. He slowly places her down in it and she slowly began to wake up. He begins to wet her hair when he saw her waking up. His face had a worried expression)

Ezekiel-" Hey..."

(She looks up at Ezekiel and he looked a bit pale like Lynnon did before she got warmed up. She lifts her hand and touches his cheek, it was like ice compared to the temperature of Lynnon at the moment. Her eyes enlarge while Ezekiel's close, loving her warmth)

Lynnon-" Your freezing!"

Ezekiel-" I shouldn't have left us out there. We should've came in sooner"

Lynnon-" It's ok but you need to warm up! You'll get sick"

(Ezekiel softly chuckles)

Ezekiel-" Why do you think I put you in a warm bath? I didn't want YOU to get sick"

Lynnon-" Get In here"
