episode 67 Visiting Donlo

The team have completed the trial and it seemed that the sheet that was provided by "Grimm" was revealed to be a contract paper where the one who signs would guarantee to give up their authority over their domains, "Grimm" somehow managed to teleport the whole team along with all the mysteries to a certain somewhere, let's see what other shenanigans could await them.

It is a regular sized room with a bigger round table in the middle, the team are on the table while the 7 mysteries are sitting on their chairs.

Keti: [surprised] what?!! Is this for real?!

Puri: all the mysteries are here!

Seth: it looks like we're on…a round table?

Keti: it's just like the order of Camelot.

Hanako: [smile] "Shinigami"? you look awfully hyped today.

Thanatos: [angry] screw you, toilet princess.

Hanako: aww, don't be like that.

Grimm: ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the most hardworking team in the history of contenders, the "Kuufkai" misfits, those contenders went through greatest threats, but despite how dangerous or how brutal it might have been, they always manage to pull it off, no matter how much you suspect my kinds work or what path I take, I just can't afford to make my own move to force you make such contract, [hush] I'm silent when it comes to these kinds of ideas, I took up to some calculations and decided that my contenders could do the job for me.

Yako: how cunning of you, making a sneaky move like hiring terrifying beings.

Shijima: I agree, is there a reason why you want all our domains? Are you going to mess with our work of art?

Grimm: some domains may need certain management, that's when I freed your fingers from those unnecessary strings, now there are no victims inside any of your domains.

Seth: does that mean we saved thousands of lives just by doing your bidding?

Hanako: oh? [smile] do you see yourself as the savior now?

Grimm: I don't even exist, I'm just a belief like all of you, except the part where all of you used to be humans, I'm the made-up figure here, and that's when there are no records of me anywhere.

"Grimm" gives "Keti" a small piece of paper with a weird language that looked like a bunch of circles.

Keti: you're bringing us more clues?

Grimm: no answer is gonna come out my mouth, so it's best to follow clues.

"Grimm" teleports the team back to the chemistry lab and it appears that it's almost sun down, "Wreck" was finally able to breath carefully and his esophagus has opened, he wakes up and finds everyone is sitting on the chairs, so he decided to join.

Wreck: so, we're back in the lab, and somehow, we're all back in one piece.

Keti: "Wreck", didn't you say by teleporting through the books the domain of the God of Death will have no effect on us?

Wreck: yeah, and if we forced our way in, the domain will mark us as dead, same way of dying.

Keti: if that's the case then how is "Fey" alive?

Wreck: beats me, I didn't want to question it myself.

Fey: let's just say, I used booster flames on myself in the very last second before I die, and it healed me completely.

Wreck: …I can tell it's not very convincing.

Keti: yeah, booster flames boost stuff, boosting a wound like that takes a whole lot of time to survive it, are you even human?

Fey: didn't "Wreck" show us that I'm human?

Wreck: …I guess I did, I didn't even care what you are, if there is something you don't want to confess about, I won't bother, but if you've got the time to tell us what you really are, it's up to you, we promise we don't bite.

Puri: it's okay, I mean we are friends, right?

Fey: [giggle, smile] …there's but one line that defines me…I was going to kill myself that day.

Seth: you mean you were going to commit suicide?

Wreck: well, that explains a lot.

Keti: what did she mean when you said that?

Wreck: … "Fey Fujimori" …is an ancient who lived for thousands of years.

Keti: [surprised, confused] what? That doesn't make any sense, how could she be-?

Seth: it's some kind of reincarnation, isn't it?

Wreck: yeah, it's some kind, but not the way humans know, you see, "Fey" isn't just any ancient, she's somehow part of the living clay, a type of creatures that woke up as clay beings, for someone like those, they don't need to rest nor eat nor dehydrate, these beings existed for 60000 years.

Seth: but what does all this have to do with "Fey" committing suicide?

Wreck: it's simple really, there are 2 "Feys" now existing in one mind and one body.

Fey: my name is "Fey", yes.

Keti: if you're "Fey", then who's the other "Fey"?

Fey: "Fey" is "Fey", we share the same name.

Wreck: one of them is ancient while the other is human.

Puri: is it like 2 stories mashed up together? But how can she still think straight?

Fey: sure, I could share both my stories to you, first "Fey", the ancient "Fey" …I was the follower of a path, part of the great selection, "Wangmon" the joyful, he was a kind and cheerful path I would ever want to follow for the rest of my life, but one day…something changed, he's no longer I used to know…when he lost his smile in a battle field against his brethren, I'm just powerless, a follower who was inspired by one's action, I leaped away, I leaped and I leaped until I find earth, you organic lifeforms seem so lively every day I walk by, and no one were to suspect a thing of me, I just continued living as always, one day they finally made their move to hunt me down and try to execute me, some kind of a butcher army, that's when I hid myself, again…as for the other "Fey", the human "Fey", I used to be spoiled too much that it scares me, mom and dad were trying all they can so we could live a happy family, I wasn't smiling at the moment, dad realized just how much I never touched books, I never opened a TV, I always insist on sleeping alone, they took me to the doctor one day, he called it autism of all things, we went home and I started hallucinating a lot, they tried to feed me some serials, it looked like maggots, tried to watch a kids show, it looked like thrilling massacre, suddenly I couldn't see their real faces anymore, now they look like horned devils, even if I look at my bed it looked like a withering shadowy bed with spike for a ceiling, I suddenly snapped, I ran away, away from home, away from my parents and headed to the forests, it was kind of a bad idea actually when you hallucinate too much, that's when I decided to give up on living, broke a twig and was about to stab myself, that's when the ancient "Fey" arrived and said 'you're giving up on living? Why not give it to me? if you're not going to live then someone has to take your place, I'm going to fix all your problems and live as an organic human life form who's going to be happy, I'll make new friends as I grow, and I'll be happy…forever', I didn't understand it at first but I let her do so, she lied, all she ever wanted was to fuse with me, our mind, soul, body, all being smashed together to form a single being, when I woke up my parents were sick worried about me, my hallucination slowly began to disappear as I progress in life, until finally…I lost all fear, whenever I'm hurt I get up like nothing happened, whenever I'm wounded the scars disappear in a blink of an eye…so, how do you find my story?

Wreck: …my question is, ancients like the living clay can tell the difference between races and the reincarnations, am I the so called "Kalibur Alverice"?

Fey: "Kalibur Alverice" is not that kind of a softy, you were born a "Skarvenian", and yet, I don't know what you are, do you even exist?

Fey: I highly apologize if you weren't comfortable with what I did, "Wangmon" once told me 'Fear is a type of devil that whispers to you most of the time', so if you listened and obeyed fear, most of the things will darken in the future.

Keti: sounds pretty logical enough, oh, by the way, "Grimm" gave us more clues to solve, do you know anything about it?

"Keti" gives "Wreck" the paper hoping that he could understand what it means.

Wreck: …this clue is beyond me.

Seth: [surprised] there's something even an expert like you wouldn't know?

Keti: was it not in the records?

Wreck: spoken like an expert I see, this is an unfamiliar language that "Skarvenians" struggle to notice, for something like this, records cannot be seen, or perhaps classified for all reality.

Fey: does that mean no one on earth knows what that is?

Wreck: that's because it's not earthly, we need to travel to a far wide place to find out, [think] let me see…right, it's worth a shot.

Puri: did you get an idea?

Wreck: we're going to meet the one and only, the "Legendary Eternal Man".

The team went to the "Egress" gate and followed "Wreck" as he walks to the direction of the palace.

Seth: do you know who this legendary man is?

Wreck: the "Legendary Eternal Man" is a piece of inspiration, it's written in the books about how superior in power he is, with a snap of his finger he can do anything.

Keti: what makes you sure he would answer our clue?

Wreck: it's worth a shot, all we need is an answer, right?

The team have appeared at the entrance of the palace, "Donlo" suddenly sensed their presence the moment they stepped foot.

Donlo: "Merasmus", there are tourists at the enters.

Marasmus: right away my lord.

The team were surprised that it is a palace in the middle of nowhere, "Puri" tried stomping to check if the gravity is right, "Merasmus" arrives to pick them up.

Keti: [surprised] wow, that guy is so tall.

Marasmus: greetings citizens, my lord is expecting your presence.

The team followed "Merasmus" throughout the palace.

Keti: do you know this tall guy?

Wreck: the "Legendary Eternal Man" requires no other servants but one, they call him "Merasmus", from the way he sees his master he's more like the lord's lieutenant.

Marasmus: how dare thee!

The team arrived right in front of the "Legendary Eternal Man", "Donlo", they all kneeled before him till he tells them to raise their heads.

Donlo: what brings you tourists to come visit my palace?

Seth: your majesty, will you excuse this lowly being before you, we have come to seek answers from a clue that is not from our world.

Donlo: a clue? Why would there be something not of your world you want answers from?

Wreck: would you be intrigued if it is an unfamiliar language that no tongue wielded for 30000 years?

"Keti" stands up and gives "Donlo" the paper hoping he might give a clue.

Donlo: 30000 years you say? So, you must be "Wreck Veganson" that I've heard of, the one who slips from my hands had shown himself directly, do you know what language this is?

Puri: we have come here to ask you what it actually says, is it really an unfamiliar tongue?

Donlo: it seems no organic life from had ever got their hands on this one, this is from a neighboring planet to "Zamarasa".

Wreck: [shocked] …there is no way, from 30000 years ago "Zamarasa" is no longer available, that would also mean that language is from the mage like living clays of "Akaria"!!

Donlo: if you know this much of "Akaria", then couldn't you find an "Akarian" yourself?

Wreck: forgive me but, didn't all of "Akarians" vanished from the tips of this universe? It is what was written at least.

Donlo: and so, they did go extinct, there is but one that was left untouched, a clerk from a far that no one could reach.

Seth: so, if we find this person, we could get the answer.

Donlo: like I said, a clerk from a far exists in the library of "Egress".

Wreck: [shocked] what? This can't be!

Keti: is there something wrong? We can get there, right?

Wreck: nothing in this universe has access to "Egress" library, except for "Egress" himself.

Fey: was "Egress" even seen throughout the world?

Wreck: no, not a single book or record explains the truth about "Egress".

Keti: [punch the ground, yell] dammit, and we we're just getting closer.

Donlo: I might have to keep the message until I find a way to crack it, you can go back now, I'll send "Merasmus" to you once we figure it out.

Wreck: [giggle, smile] it's been a great time meeting you. "Legendar-".

Donlo: call me "Donlo"

Wreck: right, lord "Donlo", we the "Skarvenians" discover and walk through as the knowledge saves us, now with the "Egress" gates we have a few reasons to travel upon the stars.

Donlo: ah, the "Egress" gates, developed by "Egress", she loves traveling a lot till it became the most famous ideal upon the stars.

Wreck: …[surprised] wait, did you say 'she'?

Donlo: you can go now, "Merasmus", send them to earth.

Wreck: throughout the entire records they assumed "Egress" was a man.

Marasmus: I'm sorry to hear that, but you got to go.

"Merasmus" opens a warp gate so they can leave the palace, "Fey" smiles at "Donlo" making him feel a bit uncomfortable.

Donlo: go away, "Fey", we have no news about your master.

Fey: [smile] … "Luminus".
