Dyzira

The moon hung low above in the sky. She stood nearby the crash site, leaning against the toughened bark of an evergreen, encased by the shadows. She leaned against the cement doorway, awaiting this new squad she was being placed on, to arrive. She wasn't fully versed in what the assignment was to be, only having been briefed in passing by some recruiter, looking to hire her skills as a marksmen. She didn't possess a gun, or anything majorly fancy. It was a simple bow, with some technological advancements. The only good part, was that she didn't have to carry arrows.

The bow itself was made of a new grade, lightweight metal which she couldn't pronounce. Some high end, very expensive type stuff. The bow was charged by kinetic fusion, and glowed only when it was being fired. The string was purified kinetic energy, isolated into the stringline by two magnets, whose name Dyzira didn't care really to remember due to complexity. The bow, when drawn, would assimilate into a small, yet lethal, amount of kinetic fusion which exploded upon impact with its target. Because the energy never wore down, she never worried about shortage of weapons. Didn't do much for hand to hand combat though, which was the purpose of the twin chakrams attached to her left hip, silent, yet deadly when used by their intended user.

She sighed, and looked at the digital watch attached to her inner forearm. Her outfit consisted of black stretchable fabric, and ingrained with carbon fiber, and Dragon scale plating for durability. A black cloak hung about her shoulders effectively masking the white fur that encased her body, the supine ears which adorned her head, and the glittering white hair which cascaded about her shoulders. She wasn't a rare gem by any means, but she didn't wish to draw attention. She was new to this place. Thus, even though she had been briefed by her own previous employer, she wondered whether or not she needed to venture inside the base.

Alas, she wouldn't. She would wait here for whatever squad came forward. She didn't need details, she wasn't the main retriever. She was just the one sent to keep the squad alive... maybe. She sighed, again looking at her wrist, idly she fiddled with the bow, surreptitiously waiting.
