Ieona and Miyong Trauma

"three years ago I found Ieona onboard a holiday ship I was on while traveling" Miyong replied holding her in his arms as she leaned against his shoulder

"she was very beautiful, but she was lost, she would wander around the ship like a waif

so I asked around and other passengers said she was crazy,"

"something was wrong with her mind, she seemed to have boarded the ship

in an unstable state, and while onboard her mental condition worsened,"

"and she seemed to have lost her memories of where she came from,

or where she intended to go and even who she was before,"

"she seemed content to stay on board and let the ship take her where ever but

the thing is, she had been on the ship so long, she was running

out of money to pay for her board, they were planning to dump her off

at the next port, the ship stopped at, I couldn't leave the situation alone by this time,

I had recognized her as my mate, so I paid for her stay on board with me until my trip ended

and then we returned to Huassain together,

I took her to a doctor to find out what was wrong with her we found out she had suffered

some kind of trauma in her life that caused her mind to break

she had a life before there is physical evidence on her body she had a child before as well

but something happened that caused her to lose her family

it seems she felt deep guilt about what happened the doctor suspects that perhaps her previous child

and husband might have died tragically somehow

she would often grieve by herself for reasons she can't remember

she would be filled with guilt as if she had harmed her loved ones with her own hands

the fact that she can't remember is also painful for her she had been in so much pain and left untreated for so long

that she had blacked out the memories of her life before but she was willing to get treated

and so we started treatment and she started getting better, we had hope eventually that

her memories would return someday and she would be able to handle it by then

but she was happy to start over her life again with me getting pregnant with Ziya child made her so happy

Ziya gave her reasons to want to continue treatment to stay healthy and happy and look forward to the future together with us as a family

but when our daughter was taken from her that created a second trauma

she was attacked in the market while shopping it was an ordinary day

she was not able to protect our baby and she once more blamed herself and her mental state relapsed the doctor

said the only thing that might help her, would be if our child could be returned to her"

"my memory has been returning in bits and pieces" she replied tearfully

"I remembered you only when you were little so I thought maybe I had lost you then somehow because I always felt so guilty, I felt like I had done something terrible to you"

"oh my god I can't believe this" Sienna sobbed

trying to wipe away her tears that continued coming down Daisuke

drew her to his shoulder he stroked her hair with one hand comfortingly the baby held between them

"thank you for saving our daughter," Miyong said

"me I should be thanking you for saving my mom!" sienna shot back "and you've been taking care of her for three years and you've been dealing with her mental condition"

"It must not have been easy for you I am so sorry about all of this"

"it's ok," he said "I always knew Ieona had a life before she met me, I knew there had to

be someone out there who would be missing her, and looking for her, I just didn't know where in this vast universe,

I should begin looking but I hoped that one day I would be able to help her reunite

with her loved ones, I just never expected it would happen like this,"

"How have you been doing sienna? were you okay being on your own?" Ieona asked

"I was fine mom, I was alone but I was mad at you and dad for leaving me and that anger gave me all the drive

I needed to keep going with my life, I learned how to be independent,

I have a mate now and I have a new family with him too and I have a nice job that I enjoy and I can make lots of money

and I am living very happily these days so don't worry about me at all ok

before Daisuke found me it was hard I worked to make money to take care of myself

but I was ok I continued going to school and everything on my own it was a bit lonely but I promise nothing too bad happened to me

the hardest thing was not knowing what happened to you and dad after you both left"

"I'm so sorry sienna I can only say this, how long have you and Daisuke been together?" she asked smiling slightly wiping away tears

"We met about two months ago actually" she admitted "he saved my life one evening coming home from school

there was an accident and I almost got hurt but he saved me from it

I was about to graduate from school I didn't know what I was going to do with myself once school was done

you were gone so was dad, I was on my own, I felt

I could get on a ship any time and end up who knows where but Daisuke

offered me a job as a songwriter in his band"

"a songwriter?" her mother asked in surprise

"yes, mom", she said nodding "I'm a songwriter now I always used to write in my journals I don't know if you remember those?"

"well we are using my journals like a life story to make songs, we just debuted and released

our first album and it got to number 1 on the charts and

we are also popular on Huassain now because Daisuke's family on Huassain supports us

Daisuke is a composer and music producer and a singer too and our entire family makes music together

the other members of our family are our bandmates they are all musicians who play instruments and sing"

"wow" her mother breathed "you've done so much with your life

a songwriter in a band number 1 on the charts you're on the star streams even!

I don't watch the star streams or listen to much music sienna maybe if had I would have seen you sooner

but all our focus have been on my treatment and taking care of the baby

so I haven't paid much attention to those other things"
