"This should be the place." Pointing at a hut beside the river shore, the anbu squad leader spoke

After three days, they finally arrived at the meeting point.

In front of the hut, Hoseki saw an oldman was fishing. They walked toward the oldman.

"Only the person can enter." The oldman spoke without turning to them.

The leader looked at the oldman who kept his silence after that one sentence.

"Go!" Making his decision, the leader told Hoseki to enter.

'Creeakkk..'

After closing the door, Hoseki heard sounds as the mattress in front of him was moving to a side.

He saw a small door in front of him under the place the mattress was.

He open the door and enter a tunnel. As he walked he saw a small light not far from him.

When he went near the light, he saw a table with three scrolls on the table.

As he reached towards the scrolls, a voice was heard besides him.

"So they sent you.."

Hoseki turn to the voice as he saw Sakumo walked out from the dark.

"Uncle!" Hoseki was surprised to see Sakumo.

After two years of leaving Konoha, he had no news from his uncle. Of course he understood that Sakumo was having his time to travel and investigate the other countries. So he didn't have any contact with Sakumo

Seeing him again like this was quite surprising.

"Are you expecting Kakashi to come?" Hoseki asked.

"Sort of. It's been awhile since I saw him. How is he?"

"Doing good I guess. Unlike me, he is a very hardworking shinobi." Hoseki answered.

"You should too. Huge war is approaching."

"Then, why did you emphasize to have one of us coming?"

"Just because."

"Just because?" Hoseki was confused.

"Well, I'm going. Read those scrolls first before leaving. Be careful on your way back. That informations on your hand is hard to get." Sakumo said as he disappeared into darkness.

"That's it? This kind of mission, how weird. Did uncle eat wrong medicine nowadays?" Hoseki scratched his head as he took the scroll on the table.

Seeing the seal on the scrolls, he immediately unsealed it and read the contents.

They were all about the strategic information of Iwa shinobi. The supplies route, the secret post and amount of Iwa shinobis on the battlefield and their positions.

Closing the scrolls, Hoseki carefully resealed them. Having the informations, Hoseki could see that the intention of Iwagakure against Konoha.

If the situation occurred the same at the other border, the war was only waiting for a spark to be lighten up and burning Konoha borders.

"Wait..." Remembering something, Hoseki reopened the second scroll and saw the information about supplies route on the.

"It's here. The Kanabi bridges. No wonder Konoha will resort to destroy it. Such massive threats connect to it." Hoseki could see how much threat the bridge to the village.

In case the bridge fell to Iwa hand, not only Iwa can send their supplies, but their troops can cut deeply into Konoha territory.

Resealed the scroll back, Hoseki put the scoll into his bag and left .

"Done?" The leader asked after seeing Hoseki come out from the hut.

"Yes."

"Let's go." The leader immediately ordered his teammates to leave.

As they were about to step away, the hut was suddenly exploded.

"You are not going anywhere." A voice was heard as a group of anbu arrived.

Looking at their headband, Hoseki knew they were Iwa shinobi. Without a doubt, their whereabout had been compromised.

The situations were suddenly become dire for Hoseki and the Konoha anbu.

"Did you see the intel?" Fang suddenly whispered to Hoseki

"Yes. The important info about their supplies route and warfare strategic information." Hoseki whispered back.

(A/N : Fang is the code name for the anbu squard leader.)

"Then, you have to go back to the village with them. We will open the route for you." Fang whispered again.

Hearing Fang's tones of words, Hoseki felt that the anbu in front of him was already prepared to die.

Seeing the other anbus hold tight on their wepons, Hoseki knew they had the same resolve.

Seeing their determination, Hoseki suddenly felt heavy on the inside. His hands immediately moved into a few signs as he closed his eyes.

"Not good. It's too late. They had surrounded us. My scouting seal indicates that our retreat route had been blocked." Hoseki opened his eyes and spoke.

(A/N : Of course he won't tell them the seal is an iguana.:)

"Then, we will force our way out. This intel must arrive at Konoha." Fang spoke as he move to attack.

Seeing their leader had initiated the fight, the other two anbu followed and fought.

"Soru" without wasting time, Hoseki moved to attack the iwa ninjas.

Clang!

Clang!

Clang!

It didn't take long before the Iwa died one by one by the Konoha anbu. Hoseki also killed two of them before he moved to the next one. The Konoha anbu were fighting desperately to end the fight and leave.

However, the clashes were heated up more as a new batch of Iwa ninja arrived.

Seeing the new enemies arrived, Hoseki summoned his sword. The Dark Ghost.

'Sheathed sword technique. Demon strikes no 1, Grass Cutter.' Hoseki disappeared as he slashed a ninja in high speed Soru.

(A/N: He didn't speak the sword technique out. I just write so you can easily understand what did he do or what technique he use.)

Hoseki darted from one to onother ninja in a second as the Iwa ninja suddenly suddenly stopped moving.

Pakkk!

Pakkk!

Shiiiish!

Heads were rolling down as blood sprayed out from the neck as the Iwa ninja fell down to the earth.

The Iwa leader was shocked seeing the situation and immediately roared. "Kill that boy!"

While Hoseki was wearing his masked, his 9 years old body was easily seen as a boy.

As tens of the Iwa ninjas approached, Hoseki moved again and attack.

Hoseki frenzily attacked the enemies around him and took them out one by one.

Heads, hands, arms and legs flying away with blood were spraying out create a bloody scene as Hoseki kept on moving to strike them.

As Hoseki was in frenzy mode, the death of tens of Iwa shinobi had caused the leader alert and ordered them to stay back as he personally moved to strike Hoseki.
