29. Trouble

A silhouette passed him and stopped in front of the cage.

Hoseki had a look and saw a familiar figure. "Orochimaru?". Then he saw Orochimaru enter the mines

As Hoseki didn't interested with Orochimaru affair, he decided to leave him alone. However, he put a note of this discovery. Who knows when it will help him in the future.

Two weeks passed after Hoseki disappearance, as much as Hoseki didn't want to be noticed, the hokage office came to know about his disappearance. Kushina was summoned to hokage to be asked of Hoseki whereabouts. In the end, she was sent back without any information.

Even his uncle Sakumo, didn't have any idea where he is. In the end, the third hokage called for a force to investigate his disappearance.

As for Hoseki, he enjoyed taking detour on his way return to the village. He visited a few small villages around Konoha and had feast along his way.

In the end, he decided return to village after 1 month. The seed was already completed and delivered to him a week ago. Arriving in front of the village gate, he sign in.

"Another chakra sealed era item. Or I should said beast. Wew. I wonder what had happened in that era" Hoseki muttered while walking into the village.

Reaching his house, Hoseki felt something strange. On his way to his house, It was too quiet. Even his neighbours were only hussing along the road to his house. And now he saw some ninja around his house.

He recognised the ninja around his house. The Anbu. The mask always used by an anbu when they are on duty. It was their trademark. Or It could also be Danzo's Root.

Hoseki felt very agitate seeing they guarded his house like that.

Hoseki walk around the village without taking out his vest to find some information.

"It has been more than a month huh. He disappeared just like that. The Hatakes are on edge nowadays." one of villages gossiping.

"Sigh... Even the hokage office had no clue where he is or what happened to him. They said hokage had sent some shinobi to find him. Even the Hatakes, opened their treasury posting mission to find him or any information about him." another one chides in.

Listening to the gossip, Hoseki dumbfounded how his disappearance effect family and the village. He knew he is trouble now. If he suddenly appeared trouble will come to him for sure.

Hoseki ran leaving the village again and began to think how he should return to village.

Another week passed. Hoseki walked to his village with haggard look. He wore a torned clothes and walked slowly.

When he was near to the village, he make sure he look exhausted. For this event he even torment himself not to eat anything for days and only drink to continue living. This was the only way he can explain himself later. Then he took of his vest walk carelessly to the village post guard

Ultimately, when he reached the post guards. He fell on himself and fainted. The guard found him and immediately inform the village.

As missing person. The information of Hoseki was sent to all post guard to be known. Hoseki was brought to village hospital immediately.

"This boy again. How many months since last time? Let see what happen to you now. " Tsunade was talking to herself seeing Hoseki on the bed.

" Hmm? Hmmmm. Emmmm. OK ." Tsunade confirmed nothing bad happened to Hoseki except lack of nourishment in his body.

"What happened to him? Is he okay?" standing in front of Tsunade, Sakumo asked.

"Nothing much. He was just exhausted. Maybe he had starved for a few days. As for his health, He should be alright." Hearing the answer, Sakumo felt relief. He wondered what had happened to his nephew.

After whole times sleeping, Hoseki woke up at dawn next day. Immediately after he woke, Hunger stroke him. He slowly walked to a table in front of his bed as he saw some fruits.

After finishing all the fruit on the table his hunger still not satiated, as the fruit were not enough to fill his hunger. He wanted to go outside for more food.

As he reached the door, the door was opened from outside. "Hei, hei, wake up already?" Tsunade walked entering the ward.

"Where did you think you are going? "

" Looking for some food?" Hoseki scratched his head and answered innocently.

"Look here boy. You had caused a lot of ruckus with your disappearance. I cannot afford to have you suddenly disappear again in my watch. You better stay put. As for your food, I'll call for someone to bring them out." Tsunade told Hoseki of his situation.

"So, I am a captive now?" Hoseki asked while calmly walk to his bed.

"Nahh.. Captive is too much. Don't take it too extreme. You just grounded until you are healthy. Then you can go and report yourself to hokage office." Tsunade did a quick check up. Then she called someone to bring foods.

Sakumo came after later on. In the first place, he wants to asked what happened to Hoseki during his disappearance. But he decided to hold back.
