Asmo made his way down the stairs, his footsteps muffled by the thunderous applause that erupted as Maria's performance reached its crescendo.
As he neared the stage, he could feel the tension in the air, the hairs on the back of his neck standing on end.
Asmo knew he had to act quickly, but he couldn't risk disrupting the performance or causing a panic among the audience. He had to find a way to neutralize the threat without drawing unwanted attention but just as he reached where he last saw the figure it seemed to have vanished or maybe it was all made up by his mind.
MEANWHILE ON STAGE....
Maria had just finished her captivating performance. As she was being escorted off the stage, Sister Cassandra and Delilah approached her. Sister Cassandra warmly embraced Maria and praised her for the exceptional execution of her routine.
However, at that moment, Delilah called Maria to her side , her expression filled with fear and her body trembling.
Maria walked up to Delilah and inquired, "Delilah, what's wrong? Please, tell me."
Delilah whispered, "Maria, I'm so sorry."
Suddenly, Delilah pulled out a blade that had been given to her by Johnny. She then attempted to viciously stab Maria.
Sensing the impending danger, Sister Cassandra swiftly pushed Maria out of harm's way, taking the brunt of the attack herself. As she was struck by the blade, Sister Cassandra cried out, urging Maria to flee.
Despite the searing pain from the stab wound, Sister Cassandra was resolute in her refusal to go down without a fight. With lightning-fast reflexes, she reached out and firmly grasped Delilah's hair, using the leverage to pull her opponent off-balance.
In one fluid motion, Sister Cassandra swept Delilah's supporting leg out from under her, executing a single-leg takedown.
Delilah's body slammed to the ground, the impact knocking the wind out of her and rendering her momentarily unconscious. Sister Cassandra's actions were not driven by a desire for retaliation, but rather by an unwavering commitment to protect herself and Maria from further harm.
She had no intention of escalating the confrontation beyond what was necessary to neutralize the immediate threat.
The single-leg takedown, a technique honed through years of self-defense training, allowed Sister Cassandra to swiftly and efficiently incapacitate Delilah without inflicting unnecessary injury.
Her movements were precise, her execution flawless testament to her disciplined and level-headed approach, even in the face of such a sudden and violent attack.
In the aftermath, as Maria fled to the safety of the main stage, Sister Cassandra's determination to stand her ground and defend herself had been made abundantly clear.
She had acted not out of aggression, but out of a steadfast resolve to protect herself and those in her care, using only the minimum force required to neutralize the threat.
STILL BACK STAGE...
Asmo was about to dismiss his fears, a sudden, deafening explosion rocked the Opera House. The lights shattered into a million glittering shards, plunging the entire venue into darkness. In the eerie silence that followed, a booming, diabolical voice erupted from the speakers, sending chills down the spines of the terrified audience.
"Welcome to the bloody show of the millennium!" the voice bellowed. "I present to you our real surprise guest of honor. He is the highest in the room, and the star of the show - he is the Morningstar!"
Asmo's eyes flew open wide as the realization dawned on him. Lucifer, his own brother, had come to crash the party. Asmo was left in a state of shock and denial, dreading what his devilish sibling was up to.
Down below, Johnny remained eerily calm as the rest of the audience descended into a frenzy. Calmly rising to his feet, he heard Lucifer's challenge and knew he had to act.
Pressing his finger to his ear, he spoke into a hidden microphone, issuing a chilling command to his stationed assassins: "Dead it."
Without hesitation, Johnny dashed towards the entrance, his eyes locked on the grinning figure of Lucifer, who was now illuminated by a single spotlight.
As the diabolical voice of Behemoth, Lucifer's Jester echoed through the Opera House, Asmo's eyes widened in shock and denial.
He couldn't believe Lucifer had the despicable audacity to crash this event, disrupting the beautiful performance of Maria.
Down below, Johnny remained eerily calm amidst the panicked crowd. Hearing Behemoth's boastful proclamation of Lucifer, Johnny knew he had to act quickly.
Pressing his finger to his ear, he spoke into a hidden microphone, issuing a chilling command to his stationed assassins: "Dead it."
Johnny's words were a directive to his team of assassins, and their target was not Lucifer, but rather Maria.
Maria had been Johnny's original target before Lucifer's unexpected arrival. Johnny had planned to eliminate Maria, but now his priorities had shifted.
Infuriated that Lucifer had interfered with his plans, Johnny dashed towards the entrance, his eyes locked on the grinning figure of the Morningstar.
Lucifer had come to capture Asmo and Johnny, who was really Madeus had specifically warned Lucifer to stay away. But now, with the situation spiraling out of control, Madeus was determined to protect Asmo from his devilish sibling's clutches.
