Gwendolyn Stone
The handsome devil walked towards me and smiled, it was clear that, it wasn't from his heart. He was nothing but an animal, a flirt, and i was going to get married to him, whether i liked him or not.
"We should get going, I'll be taking you out today, as you know, we would be getting married in 3 days, unless you're ready to forfeit the company" He said with a smirk.
He was showing his real self and it was annoying to see him that way. How dare him threaten me that way?, I couldn't say a word, i just nodded and followed him, we took his car, and he drove to a restaurant, it was beautiful.
I was glad he had a great taste for things like this, he kept smiling like a fool all through. The dinner was to get us to know more about each other, but i wasn't ready to know a thing about him.
"Won't you eat?" he said and glared at me, I was deep in thoughts and had forgotten that i was supposed to eat, they had nice food. I had promised myself, i would be at that restaurant again.
We never said a word to each other for the few hours we spent together, he drove me home immediately.
It was going to be a sad night for me, i would think about how bad i was going to suffer when i finally got married, but i didn't have a choice, I'll have to endure it, even if that happens, i had 2 days left to bid my house goodbye.
I decided to check my messages, and to my surprise, my sister had messaged me, "Gwen, i need to talk to you tomorrow, let's meet at the park". That was what the message read, i wondered what she wanted to talk to me about, i was fine.
GERALD DAMON
I did everything i did because of my Mum, she made me take her out, but Gwen had this weird facial expression. It was obvious she hated me, and i hated her more, i wondered how our wedding would be, a lot of people were invited, our parents were prepared for this.
I had no idea why i was getting involved with her, she was the only different person among those i had ever met, but still, she made me look like a fool. I was determined to make her suffer.
The wedding was in 2 days, i had to get prepared, but i had to get laid before doing that.
ALICE STONE
It was morning, i has told Gwen to meet me at the park, i wasn't sure if what i was going to say would make any sense, but i just had to say it still.
After waiting for about 15 minutes, i saw her coming, and she waved towards me. We embraced each other with a smile, it has been a while.
"Alice, how have you been?, Why are you here?, Shouldn't you be in school?, Don't tell me you ditched school to see me?"
She asked me at once.
"Sis, don't tell me you didn't miss me, How many questions do you want me to answer at a time?, Fine!, I was in school, i came to see you because it was important... and"
"What could be as important than school Alice?" she fired back without making me complete my sentence, ignored her question and continued what i was saying.
"I was in school and i ditched school to see you sis, it's about your wedding with Damon" I said and i saw her bright face turn sad.
"Alice, I'm fine, you really don't have to worry about me, there are so many other important things to worry about", she said, but it didn't make me feel better.
"Sis, tomorrow is your wedding, i know you're not happy about it, can't you do anything, u really don't trust that guy I'm scared. If he hurts you, I'll end up doing something stupid" I had told her.
"Alice, there is nothing i can really do about it. If i don't get married to him, Dad's company would end up in shambles, and you may not be able to school anymore, i know you may be fine with that, but i don't want that for you, the company is about to go bankrupt, this marriage is the only thing that can save us" She said and i felt tears drop from my eyes.
I hugged her, she was the one going to suffer, but she was assuring me that everything was going to be okay. Was it really going to be okay?.
"If you need help, I'll be here, if it's too much for you to handle, you should leave, please" I had told her and she embraced me again.
"Make sure you come for the wedding tomorrow, your face would brighten up my day", she said and i nodded.
GWENDOLYN STONE
I didn't know if Alice had given me a warning or an advice. Or was she consoling me, I'll be glad if she had done that. She came to scold me and console me.
