Chapter 34: The Lobby Incident

The five of them have gathered into the boy's room sitting down in circle, none of them are speaking, all are waiting for someone to start the conversation.

What they will know tonight will either be answers or will scar them even more. Whatever it will be, they just have to accept it and deal with it.

They have to stop running away. If they want to share Mia's burden they have to know what they are dealing with to avoid any mistakes from here on forward.

"I want to hear your side Terrence" Ysa was the one who broke the silence, among the five of them she was the one who knows a lot since she is the one who is with Mia in the past 4 years.

"It was Kevin who forced me to admit the relationship with Donna, he actually blackmailed me that if I don't agreed to it, he will disown Constellation and let it go" Terrence went black as he tell his story, the betrayal that he felt and the pain of losing the one that he love is all coming back to him.

"That incident that happened in the lobby with Donna was part of his plan to keep Mia away from me. That's what he wanted from the beginning, to keep the two of us apart"

Listening to his voice as he speaks also makes them think of what have happened

That faithful day that all changed their lives.

Terrence came entered their office building right after a schedule, he was just tired and annoyed that someone is clingy to him the whole day.

"You're not form this agency so I really don't see why you have to follow me until here" annoyance is clearly evident to his face and voice. Terrence is known to be the most peaceful looking among Luna but that is not the case at this moment.

"Why not? Your CEO clearly gave me the clearance to come here in and out, and you have to accept that your mine now, I'm not going to let you go" then Donna clings to him more.

"I won't ever like you, you can stay beside me but put this in your mind" then he faced Donna "I won't ever end up with you" he made sure that he stressed his point to her.

"Is that so?" Donna's face darken after that and then she released Terrence arms "Just make sure that you won't regret what you what you have just said" then she walked over to Mia who was just about to enter the building

Donna then stood right in front of Mia towering over her then she suddenly slapped Mia and started creating a scene.

"You slut! Can't you keep your hands off? You really wants to take away my boyfriend from?!" she really knows when to create a scene, that they executives of a another company that wanted to strike a deal with Viewbay were just coming out and currently in the lobby too.

Mia can only hold her cheeks that was slapped, she was taken aback, and she never expected this to happen in her life.

"I won't let you! You bitch!" then she suddenly grabbed her hair that caused her to get down to her knees. Mia looked up and everybody was already whispering then her eyes and Terrence eyes locked.

Everyone was waiting for Terrence response. Even Mia.

Terrence was about to do something about the situation but Kevin made his presence known, He needs to keep Constellation safe.

He just dragged Donna out of everyone sight and looked back to Mia who is currently dusting herself.

Guilt started to dawn upon him but he needed to protect her dream.

"Do that again you bitch and I will clearly show you what I can do"

"You can't even do anything today" Donna then cling herself again to Terrence. "Just cooperate if you want to have a peaceful life" but Terrence just shrugged her off.

"You can't walk away from me Terrence, not after what you did to Mia" then she laughed like a mad lady.

"Watch me" then he walks away from Donna and started looking for Mia.

Donna was left there stomping her feet like a kid.

"We were still on our schedules when that happened, I just heard it when we got back for our dance practice, it got mad when I heard that rather than helping Mia you just dragged Donna out of there" Max also began to tell his side of the story.

"I looked for her and found her inside of her recording booth just keeps on crying and crying, I was asking her what happened but she just keeps on shaking her head." It was a state that nobody wants to see. A total breakdown.

"When she finally gathered herself and started to calm down, all she said to is that I have to keep it to myself whatever it is that I knew and saw, she told what you did, I wanted to confront you but she begged me not to, saying that none of it was your fault"

Max just sighed and hang his head low. "That was the first time that I saw her helpless" another emotion crossed in his eyes, Anger. "When Kevin announced that Mia will go on hiatus and that they will be abandoning Constellation why you didn't tell us what is happening?" it was what Max couldn't put together.

"Mia's manuscript" Ysa was the one who answered the question for Terrence.

"Manuscript? You mean the one Mia wrote years ago?" Ian was the one who read the manuscript back in college.

With all the stress that they were going through in Engineering School, Mia had found solace in writing, she once wrote a manuscript that won a writing contest within their district.

Many producers have reached out to her to pay for the rights of the script but she decline all of them.

"I wanted to keep her dream of producing and directing that film on her own, but they also robbed that from her" Terrence can only close his fist tightly, they used him to get a copy of the manuscript and give it to someone.

"They used our emotions to get what they want from us" Faux is more than ready to go ballistics.

They have done enough.

"How did you even got into this mess Ysa?" Faux then turned into his sister. The four of them didn't have any idea that she was working at Constellation for the past 4 years.

"During the day that they announced Mia's hiatus, I was in town to settle my graduation. It decided to visit Constellation hoping to see one of you but instead I saw Mia standing outside looking at the building." All was listening attentively.

"I can see that pain is already taking toll on her, all that she can do is sigh and quietly thinking. I can't even say a thing even though I was really curious of what is happening" She grabbed a bottle of water near her and drank it.

"All she said to me that day was help her rebuild Constellation to the point that no one can take it away from her"
