Chapter 21: Resolve

"What happened?" Ian opened the door for them.

"Is he dead?" Faux just got out of his room.

"Can you just help me? He's heavy" the two then realize they need to help Max. "I'll explain the details later after we settle him. He's coming with a fever".

Faux then went to the kitchen to prepare some hot water while Ian and Max placed him to his bed after changing his clothes.

After settling Terrence down, Max then fix himself while Ian and Faux are already sitting in the living are waiting for Max.

"They have already talked, Mia and Terrence…" Max started the conversation, he know that once Mia figured out that he will spill the beans to these two she will surely kill him, but if he doesn't explain everything to this two, he might not see the sunrise.

"I'm guessing that it didn't go the way Terrence thought it will go" Faux is fast in reading situations, Ian too, He can feel that for the past 4 years they have an idea of what had happened but choose to keep quiet respecting Mia's decision to keep the situation down.

"Yeah, I can't hear what they talked about but both of them are crying. I guess Mia had ended all means of Terrence in making it up to her"

A long silence followed Max's statement, for the past 4 years this is the very first time that they openly talked about what happened 4 years ago.

"Given the situation, I can't decide whether the decision we made 4 years ago are for the best or not" Ian was the first one to break the silence.

4 years ago Mia only approached Max with her situation. Both Faux and Ian does know it wasn't because she doesn't trust them. It is because she knows what they will do. Mia chose to keep their friendship by sacrificing herself.

They chose to not to say anything, they stood still and play dumb, they thought it will be for he best and waited the situation to resolve on its own. Now all of them know that they should have faced it together whether their group stays or not.

For the past 4 years they have lived in a lie they created for themselves, they choose to believe that they have made the best decision because they too are afraid of the possible outcome of the opposite.

Now, all they can do is face this situation.

"I honestly don't know what to do, should we make a way to reconcile those two?" Ian suggested

"To tell you the truth, Mia already warned me about interfering, she told me that she's not mad at us keeping quiet about what happened 4 years ago. I think that something bigger had happened than the strife between them. Mia just won't tell me"

Whenever Max asks Mia about what really happened, why Constellation has to be dropped and why did she go on hiatus, she will just laugh it out and change the topic.

"I know the reason" Max and Ian then turned their attention to Faux.

Ysa woke Mia up, it's already 7 in the morning and her phone is ringing like crazy.

"Mia, why did you sleep here?" she wasn't on her right mind last night. It was as if all emotion that she suppressed in the past 4 years has come out. It was overwhelming.

She came in here last night after their talk. She didn't want to face Terrence, he did the very least to her but it was the most painful. She loves him and that love had caused her great dismay and pain.

"Are you here last night?" she asked Ysa, as far as she could recall she fell asleep crying but when she woke up she have her pillow and blanket.

"I saw the light in your studio before I went home last night, I went here to shut it off but I saw you sleeping in the recording booth, did the guys annoyed you again?" Ysa knows that it will for the best if she keeps it a secret that she saw Mia's breakdown last night.

'Lie' Mia can clearly see that Ysa's lying, but she understand and nodded at what Ysa told her

*ring ring

It both captured their attention.

[Evil PD calling]

'Evil PD? What did this person have done to be labeled Evil PD in Mia's contact' then she just looked at Mia and her face got annoyed right away.

"Won't you answer that?" Mia and Ysa just looked at each other then Mia picked up her phone and answered it.

"I already told that I wouldn't do it!" Mia stood up "I was assigned to your program not as a cast but as your sound engineer, why can't you understand that?" she dropped the call.

"Is he stupid or just that hard headed" then she shook head and stretched her body.

"Who's that?" Curiosity is overwhelming Ysa especially after seeing Mia show such annoyance.

"The Producer Director of my current program" Mia started fixing herself up and her pillows and blanket "He demands me to be part of the new program as a cast. I have already declined him but he just don't get it" She is really annoyed.

'It is nice to see you show your emotion again Mia' Ysa then say goodbye to Mia "I'll see you later" then she went out of the studio and go straight to her office.

Mia then also went out after she fixed up herself and her studio.

Somehow she felt refreshed after what happened last night, she just hope that Terrence would understand what she said.

She can't afford another breakdown or else she'll definitely change her mind.

"Let me finish my job peacefully Terrence".
