CHAPTER 3: Storm is Approaching

His eyes widened when she asked him about THEM.

She straightly looked at his eyes. The man's body shaken and almost collapsed.

'So strong!' his eyes shakened.

'Why do I feel like... I am facing the Landlord of Underworld?' his body softened and couldn't stand properly. His grip on his gun loosened up a bit but still held the hostage.

"Why are you hesitating?" she asked and slowly walk towards the man. The man didn't notice her because of intense fear.

"W-Who are you?" he asked and looked at her while sweating.

She smiled. 'Now, I have the momentum'.

"It's not good for common people to know my name. If does, be prepared to be hunted" she answered vaguely. However, for someone who is in shoes of this man, he interpreted it differently.

'Is she stronger than THEM? If yes, why is it I didn't hear about her?' his thinking is now in chaos until he felt his hand being grabbed by a hand from behind by a man.

"You are under arrest! You are given a chance to call for your lawyer for court trial to defend yourself" the one who grabbed the man is a policeman who is about to go back from vacation.

The policeman handcuffed the man properly and calmed down the crowd. He looked around to look for that black cloak figure but disappeared.

A young man approached the policeman. "You are Police Officer Kim Nam Joo, elder brother of Kim Hye Bin?" he asked.

Police Officer Kim Nam Joo looks at the young man. "You are?" he asked curiously. Only few Koreans know about him. He immediately come back from Singapore. When he got a news from above that the Young Lord of Underworld will be staying in Korea, he booked a ticket back to Korea. For the professionals like them, anyone who is part of Underworld is a criminal and should be turned to jail. However, they haven't heard any news about the Young Lord being cruel and merciless as well as ordering the Underworld going rampaged. For safety measures, they have to be ready anytime.

No one knows her name nor appearance except the series records of killing cruel criminals without participating in court trials. They are comparable to grim reapers who put people to death because of wrongdoings. However, Collins family only executed the criminal, not the innocents. That's why, the FBI doesn't directly involve themselves to Underworld unless they started a war against peace.

"I am Park Soo Win, the apprentice of Investigator Jun Min Go" he put forward his right hand for handshakes. Police Officer Kim Nam Joo takes his hand and handshakes.

"I am indeed Police Officer Kim Nam Joo"

"How could we get the information of that black cloak figure?" a woman's voice from behind of Police Officer Kim Nam Joo. She's his partner during Police operations. No personal feelings involves.

"When I look closely on her figure, it seems like she's a woman with short height but cold temperament. As what we see, she doesn't like being discovered so she wore a black cloak. For now, lets name her as Black Cloak Woman. If she doesn't get the attention of the criminal, this airplane will be part of heaven now" Police Officer Kim Nam Joo analyzed.

"And, she's younger than me" Park Soo Win added. He was amazed by that black cloak woman's bravery and smoothly handled the criminal by disturbing him psychologically. He felt like that the black cloak woman is an expert in this kind of field.

Then, he notices a young girl coming from comfort room while relaxing. She is about to sit on her assigned seat when Park Soo Win walks towards her. She frowned.

She is thinking of the possibilities if she was found out as a black cloak woman but she is certain that she didn't leave any evidence of being black cloak woman. That's why, she frowned when Park Soo Win walks towards her.

"I'm sorry if I disturbed you. I just wanted to ask if where were you when the hold-up incident happened? I didn't remember you here lately" he asked directly without giving room for excuses.

Lattecia looks at his eyes and both their eyes meet. Park Soo Win feels chills run down his spine. 'What kind of aura is this?!' he wailed inwardly and tried to overcome it. Lattecia is amazed of his persistence.

"I was inside the comfort room--" she was cut-off by the woman's voice from behind her. It's Vivienne!

"We hid inside the comfort room when we heard about the hold-up incident. We were powerless so you probably wouldn't blame us, right?" Vivienne said.

Lattecia didn't stop her but she couldn't think of reasons why Vivienne is helping her. Isn't she suppose to say that they just meet few minutes? So, why?

Park Soo Win looks at them suspiciously. His reason he approached Lattecia is because of her height. It is similar to that of black cloak woman. Isn't this too coincident?

Police Officer Kim Nam Joo notices the heavy tense between Park Soo Win and the two ladies. "Park Soo Win, I know Vivienne Choi. She's the fiancée of my friend Joseph Wang" he introduced Vivienne Choi to Park Soo Win while stuttering.

Lattecia looks back and forth between Vivienne and Police Officer Kim Nam Joo. She immediately understands the situation of these two. Lattecia clicks her tongue because of how fate plays on her life right now. Really, fate does bring people together.

"I am Lattecia Sue. I came from Singapore and my family let me stay in Korea for the meantime because of family business" she introduced calmly and they didn't notice anything wrong from her words.

"I am Vivienne Choi. I came back from Singapore with my fiancé and his friends"

Inside the Airport...

Lattecia frowned. She noticed many people wearing micro-earphones while going back and forth. She stays calm and pretends she didn't notice them.

"Lattecia!" Vivienne called her and she looks annoyed . She doesn't know it herself that her facial expression is too eye-catching like cat caught off guard of stealing food.

Park Soo Win added oil to the fire, "Latte, are you theft? Your face said so" and laughed.

"Soo Win, it's not good to tease a girl" Vivienne furrows her brows as she looks at Park Soo Win.

"Vivi-unni, why do I feel like you two are partners-in-crime?" Park Soo Win joked but Vivienne flinched. Lattecia notices it but ignores Soo Win's trap.

Yes, Park Soo Win is too suspicious of Lattecia and she's the only one whose height is comparable to that Black Cloak Woman's figure.

She is walking while pushing the cart of his bags but her eyes are observing the people who have micro-earphones.

"Nam Joo-shi, aren't they too eye-catching? Their behavior makes me dizzy" Vivienne complained. Lattecia's ears perked up, preparing to listen of what will Police Officer Kim Nam Joo's response.

"They are just protecting someone behind the scene" he answered.

"Protecting... who?" Vivienne curiously asked while looking around.

Police Officer Kim Nam Joo looks around and lowered his voice to make sure that the three of them are the only one who could hear of what he is saying.

"Our Intelligence Team got an information that the Young Lord of Underworld will be staying in Korea for the meantime. No one knows the Young Lord's appearance. We just know that the Young Lord is now here in the airport." he answered while Lattecia stiffened.

Her jaw drops. 'Who sold me to the police?!' her blood boiled. She couldn't believe it!

Then, Lattecia suddenly realizes who is behind the scene. 'Grandpa?! I thought you want me to live normally?!' blacklines formed on her forehead.

Meanwhile, inside the study room of Collins Family mansion, Leandro Collins sneezes and smiles. He couldn't imagine how annoyed his granddaughter right now. But, Lattecia didn't know that her grandfather is spreading rumors about her around Asia, visiting different countries. This turned the Asia's FBI and entrepreneurs upside-down.

Going back....

"Young Lord of Underworld? A friend or a foe?" Park Soo Win asked as he rubbed his chin. He is curious of this Underworld issues. It is his first time hearing it.

"According to the Intelligence Team, the Young Lord of Underworld despises crimes that will harm common people. Underworld activities should be dealt by Underworld itself. Just like our government, Underworld also has government system but they are more on feudalistic system. We just heard that the one who ruled over the Underworld is the Collins Family from Singapore" Police Officer Kim Nam Joo answered indirectly.

"Then, we couldn't say that the Young Lord of Underworld is a friend. If the Young Lord is a friend, the Young Lord should have informed us to reason of staying here" Park Soo Win overly-analyzed.

"You are overthinking it. What if the Young Lord is juts having a vacation? Does the Young Lord need our permission to do so?" Vivienne rebuked.

Park Soo Win sighs. "Vivienne-unni, you are so soft. What if you meet the Young Lord but didn't recognize the Young Lord? and If you did something unacceptable to the Young Lord. do you think you are easily forgiven?" he added.

Vivienne frowns. "It makes sense. However, don't always blame the Young Lord. Despising crimes is enough for me to respect the Young Lord! Humph! The crime rate in Korea is already high enough even before the Young Lord visits" she crossed her arms and looked away from Park Soo Win.

However, the caused of this debate is just listening to them like it has nothing to do with her. Anyway, she has clear conscience on this.

They reach the exit while expecting something wrong to happen related to the Young Lord. However, Lattecia senses something wrong around her.

The man who caused the hold-up incident is surrounded by five policemen to ensure his safety. They followed behind the group of Lattecia.
