The god of darkness, sensing the urgency in my voice, knew it was only a matter of time before I unleashed my full power on him. I reached out to the element of lightning, feeling its energy surge through me like a wild beast unchained. The god of darkness smirked, his eyes glowing with pure malevolence.
As our magic clashed once more, a massive bolt of lightning struck from the heavens, illuminating the entire battlefield in its blinding light. The god of darkness, caught off-guard by the sheer intensity of the strike, recoiled in pain. I could see the fear and doubt building within it; its once unwavering confidence was taken away by the sudden turn of events.
And then, without hesitation, I summoned another bolt of lightning, this one even more powerful than the last. It tore through the darkness's form, striking its essence and sending it spiraling down into the abyss below.
