Season 2 Finale: "All Must Be One"

The city of Blackstone lay in ruins, its once-proud structures reduced to ash and rubble. Smoke billowed into the air, choking out what little light the sun could offer. Jin stood at the center of it all, his sword embedded in the cracked ground. the weight of betrayal pressing on him like a crushing tide.

His eyes fixated on the spot where Jiangshi—Jon—had vanished, leaving only chaos and unanswered questions in his wake.

Hovering mid-air, Lei Gong stared down at the team, his body crackling with residual lightning. His gaze swept over the group with disdain, his eyes narrowing at their exhausted forms.

"Lesser beings," Lei Gong muttered coldly, his tone dripping with irritation. "You're not worth my time."

Without another word, his entire body erupted into a brilliant surge of electricity, the air itself trembling under the intensity. His form condensed into a singular bolt of lightning, ascending into the stormy sky in a blinding flash. Thunder roared in his wake, and with that, Lei Gong was gone, leaving only the faint smell of ozone behind.

The air seemed to still, the absence of Lei Gong's overwhelming presence both a relief and a haunting reminder of his power. Jin collapsed to his knees, he stared blankly at the ground.

"Jon…" Jin's voice was barely a whisper, trembling with grief and confusion. "Why?"

Memories assaulted him. Jon's guidance, his warm smiles, his words of encouragement—each moment now felt like a dagger plunging into his heart. He clutched his head, trying to drown out the echoes of betrayal.

"You've no idea, do you?" Mengi's voice broke through the haze, his tone sharp and pitying.

Jin looked up, his face a mix of anguish and rage. "What are you talking about?"

"That man isn't who you think he is." Mengi stepped forward, his expression firm. "He's Jiangshi, the 5,000 year old ancient vampire. A time manipulator. The genesis of destruction itself."

Jin's voice cracked with fury. "Stop! You don't know him like I do. You don't know what he's done for me!"

Mengi's gaze softened, though his words remained resolute. "You've been brainwashed, brother. He's twisted your mind so much that you can't even see what he really is. Wake up, Jin! Look at what he's done!"

Jin froze, his breath caught. "What are you talking about?"

Before Mengi could answer, Shenlog came beside them, his dragon dissipating into glowing embers. His armor was cracked, and his breathing was labored, but his presence was steady.

"Enough," Shenlog commanded, his deep voice breaking through the tension. "We need to regroup. The fight is over for now."

Seiji stepped forward, his usual smirk replaced with a rare seriousness. "He's right. We've lost here at Blackstone, but we still have the Source and weapon X. That means the Shadow Council isn't done with us yet."

The group slowly began to pull themselves together. Ma and Pa, Madagascar's loyal monkeys, who had worked tirelessly to heal Jin, their faces etched with concern. Shenlog leaned against a crumbled wall, his dragon energy flickering faintly around him.

Mengi knelt beside Jin, his expression unreadable. "You don't know who you are yet, Jin. But you will. I'll make sure of it."

Jin didn't respond, his mind racing with unanswered questions and newfound pain. His fists clenched as he muttered under his breath, "Jon… why?"

The camera panned to the horizon. In the distance, a faint glow pulsed ominously. In a dark, cavernous chamber, the Shadow Council convened. Lei Gong's thunderous entrance was marked by a sharp crack of lightning, his form materializing beside the other members.

"They live," Lei Gong announced coldly, his tone dripping with disdain. "I spared them only because they're insignificant."

A hooded figure chuckled softly. "That doesn't sound like you, Lei Gong. Getting soft?"

Lei Gong's eyes narrowed, lightning sparking at his fingertips. "They're not worth my time. Let's Focus on the Resurrection."

Jiangshi, standing at the center of the council, observed them all with an unshakable calm. "The Source is awaken" he announced, his spectral compass spinning beside him. "The pieces are in place. The Resurrection is inevitable."

A shadowy figure spoke, their voice low and menacing. "What of Nereus? He's gone."

Jiangshi smirked faintly. "He played his part. The rest will follow."

As the council murmured among themselves, the camera lingered on Jiangshi's face, his eyes glowing faintly. The screen faded to black, leaving only his final words:

"All must be one."
