Chapter 10 Hatake Kakashi

I don't own Cote, Naruto or Bsd. All right belongs to respectful owner. Also Bsd won't have much influence except for influencing Kiyo into becoming (very little) good. Btw I have started the habit of writing power level of one character shown in story, at the end of the chapter, do check it out.

"He's late," complained a young soon-to-be Shinobi, frowning as their new Jonin Sensei failed to arrive. The frown soon turned mischievous as they added, "Alright, let's do that."

As Naruto prepared a small greeting for their Jonin sensei, Sasuke found himself reflecting on past events. 'Now, Danzo must be really frustrated. He lost an elite unit of his, and Orochimaru likely played a role in this. If he contributed more, he might need compensation from Danzo, perhaps a reward involving killing the Third Hokage. That compensation is the key point here, and it's the only thing I don't know for sure. But I do have some guesses.

Anyway, I plan to proceed as originally intended until the Chunin Exams, with one exception: I'll make others as strong as possible. I can only flex my skills a few more times, and I believe this idiot has the potential to become even more powerful than his canon self.

And I'm already seeing good results. So keep it up and perform well, my friend, Naruto,' Sasuke smirked as he reminisced about the events from yesterday, remembering how much of a pain it was to explain everything to the others in an effort to clear up misunderstandings.

(Flashback - This Morning)

"It's going to be such a drag," Sasuke muttered as he made his way to the academy. Rumors had already spread about his supposed relationship with Hinata and their mysterious breakup. Naturally, he had to deal with...

"SASUKE!!!" "HEY! SASUKE, WHAT HAPPENED?" Chaos erupted in the academy as students learned that Sasuke, their prince or knight in shining armor, had been dating the eldest daughter of the Hyuga clan but was suddenly not dating her anymore.

Such reassuring news.

But the chaos didn't last long when Sasuke said, "I know what you have in your minds, so just stop it. For those of you wondering why I did this? It's because I want you to see who is the strongest taijutsu specialist among the females in our class."

"But why did you b—..." Before one random girl could finish her sentence, all she received was a stern, "Don't pry into my life," along with Sasuke's red Sharingan eyes flashing, and Ayanokouji's glare. It was more than enough to silence them.

Soon, Iruka arrived and instructed the class to be quiet, then began announcing the names of the teams for the newly graduated batch. When it came time for Team 7...

It was the same as in the original.

After class, the group gathered before meeting their Jonin sensei and wanted to hear the story. Sasuke complied but only shared a little.

First, he covered all the basic information they needed to know and then explained his simple plan.

"First of all, I was certain that this Seiji guy was responsible for all the chaos yesterday, but I knew the mastermind behind the scenes wouldn't be so naive. To trick me, he placed multiple similar suspects in our academy. So I had to take a gamble," Sasuke explained, anticipating some questions.

"If that's the case, how were you 100% sure that he would try to manipulate me?" Naruto, the victim, inquired.

"Because of my trap," Sasuke replied, earning puzzled looks from some but understanding nods from Shikamaru, Shino, and Sakura.

"I see. Very clever, Sasuke. By collaborating with Hinata to fake a relationship with you, you exposed the number one suspect. As rumors spread about you and her dating, it further proved he was indeed the culprit. But what I don't understand is why you went through all this trouble," Shino shared his thoughts, receiving a nod of understanding from everyone. Then it was Shikamaru's turn to shine.

"I see, you're one manipulative bastard. No wonder you beat my father at Shogi."

"Mind your language, Shikamaru," the two girls hissed.

"Enough with the suspense, just tell us the reason behind it," Kiba urged, witnessing a different kind of power, not physical but manipulative power.

"Alright, I heard from my father that you became the official clan head before even turning 18. This happened because you faked a relationship and broke up with her during the trial. Maybe it was set up by this bastard. You demanded the position as compensation.

Not only that you had your shadow clone, I don't know what it was made up of to endure in that much distance, watch Naruto. And when the situation became serious, you undid the Jutsu and got the memory, then informed the Hokage and went there and just defeated that Seiji." Analyzed Shikamaru.

"Yeah, that's it," Sasuke spoke. "No, it isn't. Tell me. How many?" Shikamaru interrogated him. "Alright, just 20 maybe," Sasuke answered, surprising Shikamaru, who further pressed the matter, "Were they capable?"

"Yes. From chunin to elite jonin level. But at least two or three of 'it,' so my money is on anbu," spoke Sasuke. "I see. You are really... Man, I have no words," again surprised, the Nara expressed his feelings.

"Wow! Sasuke-kun got to see 20 Anbu in action?" asked Ino happily. And Shikamaru said, "No, that's the number of enemies, and this great Uchiha fought and defeated them, otherwise, he wouldn't see today's sun."

'What? Isn't Anbu the position before Kage?' were on everyone's mind except a few. "Yeah. You should have seen it. Although I didn't like it, he finished them with a single multi Thunder Jutsu," Naruto expressed his feelings, feeling pity for the enemy.

And thus, the misunderstanding was cleared, and they kept on praising Sasuke on how good he was.

(Present - Rooftop)

"Alright, for now, introduce yourselves," Kakashi said to them. Confused, Sakura asked, "How shall we do so?"

"Just tell me your name, likes, dislikes, hobbies, and dreams," said Kakashi, to which Naruto said, "Then why don't you introduce yourself first? To show us."

"Alrighty, name is Hatake Kakashi. Just call me Kakashi-sensei. As for my likes and dislikes, I don't have any. And my hobbies? Never thought of it. As for my dreams, I don't know," said Kakashi.

"In the end, we only got his name," whispered Sakura to Naruto, earning a nod from him. "Alright, let's begin with you, Blondie," Kakashi said.

"My name is Uzumaki Naruto. As for my likes, I like Ramen and training with my friends. As for my dislikes, I really hate the two-minute wait for Ramen. As for my hobbies, I love to collect rare instant ramen noodles. And for my dream, it's to become the greatest Hokage of all," Naruto introduced himself.

'Interesting.' He thought. Then he glanced at her, and she understood.

"Ah, my name is Haruno Sakura. The thing I like is... I mean the person who I like is... Kyaaa!!!" She did the same as the original. "Alright, how about your dislikes?" Kakashi asked. "Naruto," she replied quite bluntly, and this definitely hit Naruto hard.

"I see. Now, your turn, Sasuke," Kakashi said, this time in an interesting tone. "My name is Uchiha Sasuke. And the thing I like is training and improving myself. As for my dislikes, I really hate weaklings. And my goal is to bring Uchiha to its previous glory and a certain thing."

And in that manner, Sasuke introduced himself, which Kakashi found pretty typical, but he couldn't help but wonder about that 'certain thing.'

"I see. Now tomorrow we will do a survival exercise," Kakashi introduced the next item in store for them. "What's a survival exercise?" Naruto asked, confused, as they were supposed to be done with all those exercises in the academy.

"Well, this won't be just a normal training exercise. It's some sort of exam we must clear to become official Genin, isn't it, Kakashi-sensei?" Sasuke revealed the game Kakashi was trying to play.

"Maa. Don't give spoilers. Plus, how did you know about it?" Kakashi said, to which Sasuke replied, "Ahh. But isn't it common basic knowledge? I mean, what Shinobi is a Shinobi who isn't up to date with the affairs of the world."

"Make sense. Anyway... So, you'd better skip breakfast. You might puke." Like this, Kakashi gave a brief description of the exams, and both Naruto and Sakura had lost their cool, but not to the extent of the anime.

Before disappearing with a shunshin, Sasuke gave a piece of advice to his teammates. "Don't skip breakfast because if you don't have energy, how the heck are you supposed to fight? Also, I would puke one or two times rather than failing to become a Shinobi."

(Tomorrow morning - 10:00 am)

A figure with white hair defying gravity appeared, and soon, Naruto and Sakura heard it. "YOU ARE LATE!!!" By Naruto and Sakura. Then Kakashi made one of the excuses of Uchiha Obito, his rival and best friend.

"Alright, now listen up. As you can see, there are two bells, and your mission is to collect them by noon. Those who fail to do it don't pass and will have to go to the academy, like I said yesterday," Kakashi explained.

"But sensei, there are only two...?" Sakura said, fearing the worst, and she heard it the next moment. From the left side, the clone tried to punch Kakashi, and Kakashi threw a simple counter punch, but Naruto stopped in the middle, bent his body down, and threw a punch with the other hand.

Kakashi blocked it, surprised while thinking, 'Damn, what reaction speed. From his father, I guess. Also, this punch would definitely hit a low-level chunin. Plus, what was the technique he used just now? I knew it was a feint, but it felt like the attack would connect no matter what, but it didn't. This boy, Naruto isn't anything like the academy report.'

Kakashi caught the kunai thrown by the second clone, kicked the first clone, and threw the kunai, which finished the second clone too. Then Naruto once again punched to the right side of Kakashi, but Kakashi anticipated his plan.

"Yeah, you may be right, but say that after you see this, you know." Naruto said. 'You know, huh.' Kakashi pondered but was rather surprised to see the scene in front of him.

"Now you will see the real power of the great almighty Uzumaki Naruto. MULTI SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!!!."

"But what would that do? It will be just like before," Sakura mutters. "I see. You care little about him," Sasuke comes from behind. "Sasuke?" Sakura speaks in a low voice. "Yeah, it's me. Now see. Just like he said, you will see the true power of Naruto. Something which is a little hard even for me," Sasuke responds.

"I wonder what it is... Huh!!! What, how is this possible?" Sakura nearly screams. "Is he... Is he really that Naruto?" Sakura speaks in surprise. 'If so he might be even stronger than Sasuke. No, it isn't possible. Sasuke did say it is a little hard. Only a little.' Sakura thought.

Yes. In front of those three, an incredible scene had occurred. As nearly a thousand of Naruto appeared on training ground 7, who were now glaring at Kakashi with an intense gaze. "Now let's go wild," said Naruto. "YEAH!" followed by the entire shadow clones.

"Alright, let me teach you one or two things about Shinobi battle rules. Taijutsu," Kakashi provoked Naruto further. As the clones barraged towards Kakashi, a clone tried to punch him in the guts, which Kakashi avoided by side-stepping and kicked the clone.

Then, with lightning speed for a genin, Kakashi dashed towards them and punched one in the jaw and backhanded the other. He delivered a clean back kick to another clone. Then he caught the two clones who rushed at him and banged their heads together.

With a battle cry, Naruto didn't give up despite all the failures and kept pushing forward without achieving any good. But Kakashi was no pushover either. In fact, even with Naruto's full power, Kakashi was several, no, many times stronger than that.

But a miracle happened. Just when Kakashi was clearing out Naruto's clones by punching, kicking, and even karate chopping, suddenly a Naruto from behind came and threw a straight punch. Kakashi side-stepped and was about to counter, but Naruto moved very fast and punched Kakashi from the front. Kakashi blocked it but felt the impact. 'The shunshin, I see,' Kakashi deduced.

Naruto then caught Kakashi with his other hand and delivered a punch powerful enough to make a high chunin fall down. Kakashi either expected Naruto to dodge it out of fear or thought it would be more likely, but it wasn't. Even blood started dropping from Naruto's mouth.

Naruto then tightened his grip, pulled Kakashi towards himself, and delivered a hook. Kakashi evaded it by jumping from Naruto's back, but Naruto wasn't done yet. The remaining clones went to attack Kakashi, and this time there were ten of them left.

In the air, it didn't even take Kakashi five seconds to finish them all. He immediately searched for Naruto on the ground but couldn't find him anywhere. Then, his instincts kicked in, and he rotated and punched Naruto, who also punched him back. Kakashi's punch was more powerful, but Naruto was no weakling either.

A single punch made Kakashi feel something, and both of them landed, Kakashi in a sitting position and Naruto in a sleeping one. 'I see. He even knows how to use chakra enhancement techniques. Yare yare. To think he would be able to hit me. But it's over for him now, no, them,' Kakashi thought as he stood up, feeling exhausted.

As he had just defeated a thousand clones of Naruto, including the original. The original had a lot of strength, which was in the report, but not the absurd number of shadow clones. He simply thought Naruto wasn't capable of that feat.

Plus, how did he know shunshin and how to enhance chakra in his feet to increase speed? Not to mention the reaction speed he showed when they punched each other, and his punch actually connected. Well, that's a mystery for later.

Currently, all he could hope was for them to figure it out themselves as he stood up and moved towards Sakura and Sasuke. After all, he couldn't forget his strong nose.

But right the next second, Naruto used a low kick with his right leg. 'What???' Kakashi wondered. Naruto quickly put his right leg in the ground and, by rotating his body, performed a powerful 360-kick right at Kakashi's face as he was falling down. He used shunshin to appear right there.

As he was about to take the bell, Kakashi reacted quickly by flipping back and saw Naruto with blood on his face. After all, he had endured two punches by Kakashi, and both of them were enough to challenge various chunin and even some jonins.

"Hehehe. Are you surprised? That an academy student who hasn't even graduated managed to put some damage on you, Kakashi-sensei?" Naruto asked with a huge grin on his face. "Yeah, well, I am quite surprised. I think with a little training, you would be on par with a jonin. But you lack one decisive thing to become a ninja. So, sorry, I can't make you pass," Kakashi replied.

"Fine then. No matter what, I will make you acknowledge me. Uzumaki Naruto, the future Hokage," Naruto declared as he threw some kunais, which Kakashi dodged. He was about to use a palm attack on Naruto's stomach but stopped in the middle and blocked a kick from Uchiha Sasuke.

"I can't believe it. According to my estimate, Naruto's strength is just a little below a jonin's. But to give trouble to an elite jonin like him... Well, I really didn't expect this just because I gave him two scrolls for techniques the moment I finished those ninjas. He truly is an example of sheer hard work. But that's not enough to surpass me," Sasuke thought as he now faced one of the hardest battles in this world.

And he knows it would be problematic without these two's help. "Alright, let's win this, you two," Sasuke said with a serious determination. "Wait, you are planning to use me for you and Sakura-chan to win, aren't you? You manipulative bastard," screamed Naruto.

"Naruto, what do you think is the best outcome then? One of us fails or all three of us fail. In my opinion, it would be better if only one of us fails," Sasuke reasoned with them, followed by a "tch" from Naruto.

"Alright, let's just show him our perfect teamwork. Sakura, you support us with your Shuriken Jutsu later, and now use your medical Ninjutsu to heal him. We will need him," Sasuke said to them, and they nodded. He continued, "Meanwhile, I will handle this monster for now."

"Maa. Don't you think it's cruel to call me that, Uchiha clan head?" Kakashi says, but soon, a kunai comes flying at almost the speed of sound, which he barely dodges. He looks back and loses all reasons in the world.

"Although you are a monster, in front of me, you are a little one," says Sasuke. "Considering the damage you can make with a single kunai, I think your statement is true, but you shouldn't underestimate me," Kakashi says as he reveals his headband and reveals his vertical scar, soon followed by the scarlet Sharingan in his left eye.

Sasuke also aweakens his Sharingan. "Alright, let's settle this, son of the White Fang and The Copy Ninja Hatake Kakashi," he says as he dashes forward towards Kakashi. As they are right next to each other, Kakashi throws a punch which Sasuke sidesteps and goes for a back elbow attack.

Kakashi immediately blocks it then backs off. "Good try, but still not enough, Sasuke," Kakashi says as right after he blocked the attack, he tries to take the bells but fails because Kakashi backs off in time.

"Water Style: Water Wave," Sasuke says as he performs the water Jutsu, which Kakashi has no problem dodging. Then Sasuke coats the kunai in his hand with lightning. Seeing this, Kakashi frowns, wondering about Sasuke's plan. It seems too true to be easy.

"Water Style: Needle Rain," Sasuke once again says, revealing his true plan. It isn't to use lightning but rather to use these needles, which are deadly if they hit. Then Kakashi starts forming signs for a defensive Jutsu, but Sasuke throws the kunai coated with lightning.

Kakashi has no choice but to dodge both it and the needles, and he does it with mid-high difficulty. Sasuke is deadly when it comes to precision for such things. But that's not the whole point. Kakashi realizes that Sasuke has positioned him exactly where he wants him to be, so Kakashi frowns.

(AN So sorry guys for late updates it's particularly due to my health conditions being worse. Also in this story we see at the beginning the misunderstanding is cleared and now Naruto surprises both Kakashi and Sasuke during the bell test. As he manages to land a hit on Kakashi two times.

And this Naruto has got some insane reaction speed to counter punch Kakashi in the air but still got hit by Kakashi. And to surprise him by that kick. But still not enough to handle Kakashi I guess. And as expected Sasuke rocks. Right after his entry, even Kakashi had difficulty against him.

As for the power level this time, I have chosen Kakashi. And his power level is...

390000. Low Kage level. I know some of you may disagree. But he is currently an A ranked Shinobi not the S ranked one he was back then in the anbu.)
