I walked back to the cave and headed back to the garage where the APC and MBT were parked. Weirdly, the soldiers were eating from a ceramic bowl.
Apparently, Alexa has cooked us lunch in the cave. The whole platoon took an interest in that cooking since they had just returned from a long-range operation, and we told them to accompany us to a cave in the middle of nowhere. This food was a blessing for them.
"Wilson, why don't you eat with us?" Maria said as she ate the bread with soup while sitting on the floor. She laid down the PRL-147 beside her while sipping the soup with a spoon.
"Sure, why not?" I said as I grabbed a serving of soup on the dining table inside the cave.
I sat beside her and put my SCAR-H beside me while the others were eating in the garage. The sergeant was enjoying the soup pretty much, but he has to return soon because he has to report to general Meyer at the base.
"General, I'm going back to the base. See you tomorrow," the first sergeant said as he got inside the machine gun turret.
While grabbing an almost clean bowl on my left hand, I saluted to him, "See you, sergeant."
The tank and APC left the cave and leaving us behind. We were going to stay in this cave tonight. Actually, this cave was more like a VIP bunker.
"Maria, you've eaten the soup, haven't you?" I asked her.
"Yes, I have. Do you want to wash the dishes?" She stacked her bowl on mine, "Thanks," she left me by running to the bedroom.
"Hey, Hey," I shouted, but she kept running away from me. I thought she was lazy to wash the dishes.
I walked to the kitchen and saw Alexa had started to wash the dishes. I dumped the dishes on the sink and walked away while seeing her grim face.
In the entertainment room, Garth was shooting Christine's AUG and vice versa down the range. They were competing again each other.
"I will beat you, General," Christine said as he shot Garth's FNC to the range on full auto.
"In your dream Captain," he said as he reloaded the rifle and continued to shot the gun down the range.
I walked to their direction and un-sling the rifle on my back. I joined them after putting my tactical rig on the table near the indoor range and pull out all of the mags.
"May I join?" I said as I pressed a button in front of me and put the rifle in front of my shoulder.
"Sure thing General," Christine said as he continued to shot her rifle after reloading magazines.
"Ok, firing," I said as I shot my rifle down the range. I switched the safe button to full auto and shot the gun on the mode.
I shot the red dot in the middle, albeit missing some of the shot. I got an accuracy rate of 90% from all of the 6 packs of 30-round-magazine.
In conclusion, I won that match between the three of us. Although their score wasn't that bad either. Christine passed with a score of 85%, and Garth passed with a score of 87%.
"Wow, good shooting Wilson," Garth complimented me.
"General, Well done," Captain Hasslebrown said as she returned Garth's FNC and took back her own AUG.
"Haha," I put the SCAR-H on my back then headed back into the armory. I opened the large steel door that protected the armory then saw Maria was inspecting the weapon inside. She checked the barrel and the maintenance.
I grabbed the weapon that she held and asked her, "Is this weapon any good?" I checked the chamber and pulled the charging lever back and forth. She grabbed the weapon again from me and put it in the nearby rack.
"This FAMAS is all good," She said. She looked sad on her face since there wasn't any piece of ammunition on the armory. The only weapons left were the launcher and the explosive. All of the weapons had run out except the ones that were loaded on the Leopard.
"Haha, it's a shame that some of them are inoperable, right? What if I refurbish this whole mountain into a manufacturing plant and new base for our AFB. Of course, it's also mean that we would build a big highway between the AFB and the FOB since this is our manufacturing plant for our base," I said to her.
"Hmm, A concrete road with a length of 100 km should be enough for a race track," Maria chuckled as she grabbed back her PRL-147 onto her back and left the armory with me.
Alexa had finished washing her dishes and had joined with Cecile, Garth, and Captain Hasslebrown in the shooting range. This time they were using an LMG. Garth was using an M249, Cecile was using the MK 48, and Christine was using a PKM.
"Guys, leave your weapon, we are going to convert this place into a new base," I said as they stopped firing their MG.
"Ok, but could you leave me some private space for me. This was my nest after all," Alexa complained a bit, but her offer wasn't that bad at all.
"Sure, I will leave some privacy room for you in this base. BTW, did the hero tell you how big is this mountain?" I asked her.
"Big enough, I think. I forgot it honestly," She said to me.
"Ok, Let's go outside. I will summon it. I hope this mountain has enough natural resources," I said to them all as we walked outside of the base.
We walked outside of the cave, then I stood up about 100 meters away from the cave entrance then I used my spells on the mountain in front of me. [Ultimate summon].
A large magic circle appeared in front of me, but the only part that I could see was the edge of it. Unsurprisingly, the cave transformed into many cave systems, and my vision blurred, and I fainted.
