After a long gruesome search in the in the dried up remains of the once lush waterways, he thought of a different path he could take when he saw a few bones next to a tunnel. It was a small hole next to a pile of bones which looked like it could've been from some kind of Rodent. Yet this wasn't what intrigued him, no, they were the constant screeches coming out of the hole, it sounded bloody and gruesome.
Ludwig was curious so he dug the tunnel heading to the loud screeches. He couldn't help but notice how coarse and dry the dirt was, almost like sand, which created a thought of concern about the stability of the tunnel, as well as that of the water system.
As the screeches got louder, he started to slow down his digging, careful not to provoke whatever may be hidden behind the dirt. He soon reached his destination as he poked a little hole trough the remains of the dirt which separated him from the noise.
