Chapter 91
"What?! Oh goodness. How is this bad news? This is terrible news, a deadly one" she said, holding her chest in a painful manner. She was expecting bad news but not this news. This wasn't bad news, it was heart wrenching news. A big disaster!
Butler Sam, seeing this, began to panic, "Madam, are you okay?" He said moving closer to observe her. He holds her hands so he could check her pulse, after he was done , he places two fingers on her neck to check her temperature
(Slaps him on his shoulders) "Ofcourse I am not okay, can't you see that I am dieing?" She said with a frown. 'What a stupid question' she thought.
He knew she would get affected by the news but to him she looked fine, since she was still talking to him. So he moved back, giving her some space to breathe properly, so it could ease her pain.
Just thinking about it, her head aches. She felt her heart break into several pieces. That was the only sample she could get from her grandson. And people had to die to get it. Now what was she supposed to do? Her grandson was already old for Marriage but he wasn't making a move at all. She risked all she heard to get that sample, since he wasn't willing to get married, she had to think of another way. Now all her hopes were now ruined. How was she going to convince him now for another one? Now she would die without getting to see her great grandchild, this was painful to her.
"Madam, should I get you some water?"
"No, get me acid" she said glaring at him, she had kept him in charge of the whole process, how could he be so careless? That was her life but he lost it.
"Speechless"
"Madam, there's still hope," he said, trying to comfort her.
Looking at him, she knew what he was up to, he just wanted to comfort her with mere words. How would that work on her? She was already heart broken.
"Sam, you've worked for me for many decades. You've never failed me before. What happened now?" She said with a sad tune, it seems she wanted to cry and this shocked him.
"Madam, The lady who was willing to undergo the process, is successfully pregnant."he said sadly
(Looking confused) "That's good news, but why do you sound sad?" She wasn't happy as well. Since he had made mention of the sperm being misplaced then it was more complicated
(Sigh) "The sample we were supposed to use was exchanged with an ordinary sample. It wasn't the master's sperm, we just got to know about it. The lady we hired is three months pregnant now, we ran a check on the child's DNA and he isn't related to Master. We had suspected the switch earlier but we couldn't give you the news until we've confirmed it. So after confirming it, I rushed here to give you the news."
"The lady is now pregnant? And the child isn't my grandchild?" She asked
