"Well.. he said you don't have to be mad at him for so long and I guess he has realised his mistake already.Quickly go and hear from him what he has to say.I will assist Sam over here while you are away"Sammy said.

Grandpa felt bad after the call was hung up.He felt his lovely wife was still mad at him.

"She never said a word but hung up, " he said to Kent. Forcing a smile on his face, 

Kent was now in big trouble,it seems he was now a relationship expert, helping build up relationships and settle arguments. It was surprising that being a single man the old man was looking at him for help. 

He had no slight idea of what was going on.It has totally crunched his heart and also put on a moody look on his face.Such never occurred within him.

"You know..you shouldn't expect less from the one you love.Such quarrel makes the love stronger and builds your trust." Kent said. Such a statement from him was more like a shock to the brain. 

What the f*ck! Kent spoke like someone who had once been experienced in love, if they hadn't seen the way he treated girls themselves, they would have thought differently now. But hell No, some girls made the mistake of touching his neck tie and they all ended up in coma, he wasn't a gentleman at all when it comes to treating the opposite sex, infact it seems he hated them with passion.

They would all die of shock because damn, it would be very difficult to exit such a large hall in 30 seconds" Adams said, looking at Kent like he had just seen an alien. First if all the old man was strange, unexpectedly nice and now Kent? What was he missing?

Lee, Strings and Joey hearing what Adams had just said couldn't help but nod their heads in agreement. Their heart had stopped some moments ago because of the sudden statement. Kent seeing this was helpless, where on earth did he get such friends from?

"Love can go to any extent.Knowing you two are no young newly married couples.. you should know how things will be with her by now" Strings said finally after finding his voice, everyone had been trying to talk to the old man by seeing and setting reasons with him, he had to make his contribution as well.

"Well..I know,I'm sure she's still mad at me but I will try calling again"This part of Grandpa's speech put a smile on their faces.It was so touching that they could feel for him too like they were in his shoes.

Love itself is pure and sweeter with the right person. Sometimes some people get very unlucky and give up on love but that shouldn't happen at all, they should have a bright mind filled with light looking for the right frame of love. The old man looking at the smile on the younger ones' faces hid his smiles from them. It was funny enough that he was being lectured on love by them. Just as said he looked at the phone screen and dialed his wife's number again, hoping she would pick it up this time around.

Seeing the call..Sammy handed the cell phone to Granny immediately showing her the path to excuse herself while she walked to the sitting room to pick up the call.

"It seems the scene is focused on uniting the two old couples."Sam said looking at his young master who kept smiling 

"(Smiles) of course, but their love shouldn't have gotten between my sleep. I thought about picking the call one time and scaring the hell out of the old man (sigh) I later realized that I had no strength"

(Smiles) " That was a good move, young master. You don't have to worry the Madam is done preparing dinner "

(At the sitting room)

Lily walked up to the soft couch to rest her body. She had been standing for some few hours cooking. Holding the ringing cell phone, she sat down comfortably before picking it up.

(Picks up)

"What exactly does the old man have to say this time? Want to question me or is there something more?"Lily said immediately as she picked the call.

"Come on dear.. you shouldn't have hung up on me earlier. I didn't mean to upset you really"Grandpa said in a low heartbroken tone. He sounded more like It has really hit him hard this time or maybe he was just pretending to be affected.

Hearing such a tone from her husband, Lily chuckled slightly. She wasn't going to take things lightly with him "Why playing innocent?You don't have to. Could you kindly hit the nail on the head and state the reason you have called? Else I will hang up again" she said, forming annoyance. This would be enough to put him in his place. But she didn't see that coming at all.

"Listen Lily..you don't have to be mad at me for so long it's been past a day now"

Boom! Lily was beyond shocked. She couldn't believe her ears at all. The old man had never called her by her real name before. The only time that happened was when she had introduced herself to him for the first time and he said repeating the name after her. And if there was a second time, it would be when he is being asked 'his wife's name. She wasn't expecting this at all. It's been a thousand years.

Grandpa noticed that and made corrections immediately.

So pleasant and kind to anyone it comes across, there could be no other name that would suit you best than the name you already bear. My Lily, My love I have realised I am at fault my love,I am so sorry" The old man said, Adams he was sitting beside him was already having a bleeding nose.

(Hits him on the shoulders) "Idiot your nose is bleeding" Joey said looking at him with disdain.

"How is it my fault, didn't you hear what the old man just said? It's enough to make me die" Adams said, picking up a napkin from the table. He could already feel the taste of blood in his gums and teeth. The old man's words were too good, he being a man, he has already been swept off his feet. Adams didn't mind the looks he was getting from his friends, he raised his head up a little so as to stop the bleeding instantly.

"Just with such little words you're already nose bleeding. What a disappointment, no wonder you are never lucky with girls. Who knows what happens when you go out on dates. You just say some romantic words to them and bleed in their presence as well" Joey said sounding very disappointed. All he got was Adams rolling his eyes at him, since he didn't refute his words, it meant he was right. What an unlucky fellow.

Hearing this..Lily felt this chill air that blew from no where.It was the apology for her..She was pleased yet maintained silence. This was the man she married, he always had a way of making things right between them. His words could make her face so red like a tomato. It always gives her a tender and loving feeling that soothes her heart and gives her comfort.

"Take a look at how he is calmly apologizing "She said within her with a smile on her face.It was like yesterday when their love story began. The old man had to chase her so much that it became so annoying. It was like he was stalking her, it didn't stop until she agreed to go on a date with him. 

"My angel,"He called out while she blushed all over. Everyone knew how sugar coated his words were.

"Gosh, if I stay here I would bleed to death" Adams said standing up from his seat. Here he was trying to stop the bleeding but the more he heard the old man speak the more he bled. He immediately excused himself running further away to the kitchen. It seems he chose the wrong direction because he came running the opposite direction again. All he got was disappointment stares from Kent, Strings, Joey and Lee. The only person who wasn't aware of what was happening presently was the old man, he was already lost in his world of Love.

"I was at fault. Don't get mad at me. Kent and his friends are here already. We were indeed surprised seeing the preparation you have made" He had to compromise, he had no choice but to drag Kent into their discussion. It works every time.

"Kent and his friends are there?" She asked, sounding surprised. This means they had all woken up. 

" Yes they are (pause for a second) he did this to create an atmosphere of remorse "Knowing that you never said a word to me. I wasn't happy at all. I totally forgot that you might have figured out means of reaching out to me and also tried reaching out just to let me know about your plans.I knew you never carry out plans without relating them to me..this looked very strange to me. Forgive me this time, my darling wife. Your old man is heartily sorry"

Hearing that her grandson and his friends were now around, she felt pleased and felt she had no reason to keep up her anger. But she had to teach him a lesson, so he would make amends. The old man has a problem sticking to his cell phone. Though he wasn't human but he had stayed in the human world for so long, he should have adapted to the way things work when mind linking isn't possible because of the far distance. A cell phone would come in handy at that moment just like now, they were communicating through their cell phones "Now..you can see why I said you ought to go to the training field with your cell phone"

(Nods) "Yes my love"

"And not just that, you have to learn to keep your cell phone beside you and pick it up in times of emergency " she said again

"Yes my love, I understand how important it is. I promise to adjust and work towards all your demands " he said 

" When I couldn't find your car.. I tried calling you to let you know about it and to also know if you have an idea of who took it Probably..you forgot to let me know about it or maybe.. you changed the position of where you parked the car due to some reasons and still forgot to let me know about it."Lily explained in a rush.

"I also tried telling you that I found the car when I found it and the one who took it that is..with whom the car was,and also.. to tell you my plans for Kent I…" she stuttered, she had no plans of telling him all this at the second thought. 

"Shhh, my love there's no need to explain all this. This old man of yours understands everything. I am the one who is at fault, if I had taken my phone and received your call that I wouldn't have made you angry" he said using a depressed tone "I don't like it when you get so angry, and I made you feel that way. Your husband is really sorry"

While Lily kept talking,Stating the past before Grandpa made him feel bad. He felt bad and then interrupted so that she could end the record of it.He couldn't take more.

"I am sorry "The Old man apologized again. He could hear the silence at the other hand, she must be thinking deeply "I wished you hadn't left the mansion with Sammy just as you did earlier. You have every right to punish me, "The old man pleaded.

Kent and his Friends kept watching Grandpa's reaction following up with expressions on their faces. They could all see how sorry he felt deep inside. "Adams made the right decision by standing up to leave this table, by now that fellow would have been dead" Strings said. They couldn't believe it themselves, the old man had made use of the mosey difficult word for men and that word is 'I am Sorry'. He had said the word 'Sorry' more than a thousand times in just a sitting.

Kent wondered if his grandfather was an immortal or a human being.An immortal shouldn't be this weak at all..What sort of creation is this particular love? Because the way he got so emotional was beyond what one could think of.He couldn't believe love has it's own ways of handling life itself and bringing out one's weakness.Quite powerful.

Don't tell me that love has it's way of manipulating humans.But…My grandpa is no human..he shouldn't get manipulated too" Kent said to his friends looking sorry disappointed for those In Love. Though he knew of his grandparent's love story but he felt they were just lucky, he didn't believe in love at all.
