Vulpix vs Akamaru!
If Naruto and Kiba couldn't agree, they would start fighting…
This might seem strange to outsiders, but it was perfectly normal for Naruto and Kiba.
Naruto and Kiba often found themselves in heated arguments.
"My Vulpix won't lose to your Akamaru!"
"Vulpix, show them what you've got!"
Naruto was not to be outdone, signaling Vulpix to make a move.
"Akamaru, rush in and bite it!"
Kiba commanded.
"Woof…"
Akamaru roared angrily and lunged at Vulpix.
"Vulpix, get out of the way, and wait for me to see…"
Naruto momentarily forgot what moves Vulpix had and looked puzzled. He quickly took out the Pokédex and began to check it.
Despite Vulpix having only four moves, Naruto couldn't remember them all. This caused him to be unsure of what move Vulpix should use.
"Whaa…"
However, Vulpix was quite agile and smoothly dodged Akamaru's attack.
"Akamaru, keep chasing and attack!"
Kiba saw that Vulpix could only dodge and smiled, commanding Akamaru to continue the pursuit.
Without an effective strategy, Vulpix was soon caught by Akamaru, who bit it a couple of times, causing Vulpix to cry out in pain.
"Wow, Kiba, you're so sneaky, taking advantage of this time to attack."
Naruto, still consulting the Pokédex, was surprised that Akamaru continued attacking. Seeing Vulpix getting hurt, Naruto became anxious. "Vulpix, are you okay?"
"Uh-huh…"
Vulpix shook off Akamaru with difficulty, indicating it wasn't severely hurt.
"Hahaha, that's not a sneak attack; the competition has already started."
Kiba laughed triumphantly. "I told you Vulpix is no match for Akamaru. Surrender now, or your Pokémon will be injured further."
"Don't get too cocky."
Naruto, displeased, looked at the Pokédex and began giving commands. "Vulpix, use Ember!"
"Uh-huh!"
Upon hearing this, Vulpix opened its mouth and shot small flames towards Akamaru.
Akamaru, who was still proud, didn't expect Vulpix to use a fire move.
Akamaru, unable to dodge, took the Ember head-on.
"Woof!"
Akamaru yelped in pain as the Ember knocked him to the ground.
"Akamaru, are you okay?"
Kiba quickly rushed to Akamaru's side and asked.
"Woof…"
Akamaru stood up and whined slightly. After taking the Ember, Akamaru had some minor burns, but nothing serious.
"Naruto, you used that opportunity to launch a sneak attack. How despicable!"
Kiba was relieved that Akamaru was okay but then scolded Naruto angrily.
"What are you talking about? Akamaru attacked first!"
Naruto retorted, not backing down.
"But my Akamaru didn't use any special techniques! You used a move, which is unfair!"
Kiba insisted.
"Vulpix isn't using a special technique; Ember is just a fire-type move," Naruto countered.
"It's all about fire moves. You can't deny it's similar to using Fire Style. Shikamaru, what do you think?"
Kiba turned to Shikamaru, who was nearby, hoping for support.
"Hmm… If I remember correctly, that was a fire move."
Shikamaru, half-awake, yawned and muttered.
"It's clear; Shikamaru said your Vulpix used a fire move."
Kiba was triumphant.
"That's not the same as Fire Style; it's just a fire-type move. Anyway, Vulpix defeated Akamaru!"
Naruto wanted to argue but thought about it and realized that while the names were different, the nature of the moves was similar.
At least, Vulpix had won.
"Damn, when Akamaru learns the Transformation Technique and Teeth through, he'll definitely defeat your Vulpix in one move."
Although Kiba was reluctant to admit it, he had to concede that Vulpix was currently stronger than Akamaru. Kiba was confident that once Akamaru learned advanced techniques, he would have the upper hand.
"Hahaha, Vulpix, you won!"
Naruto hugged Vulpix and jumped up happily.
"Woof!"
Vulpix also looked pleased, its little tail wagging happily.
"Naruto, where did you get this Pokémon? It's so cute!"
Once the commotion with Kiba was over, Ino Yamanaka approached Vulpix, her eyes sparkling.
"Yes, Naruto, where did you get this Pokémon? It's adorable!"
"It's not just cute; it's amazing!"
The classmates gathered around, intrigued by Vulpix's charm.
