Although they agreed to meet at night, Suzanne Trent didn't leave the York-King Group building at noon.

Mason King asked her, "Hungry? What do you want to eat?"

"No need, my agent and the others are still waiting in the car downstairs for me." As she spoke, she walked out of the office while calling Lucy Nguyen.

She asked if they were hungry and if they wanted to eat something nearby.

Lucy Nguyen: "We just finished eating. Our morning client treated us. We thought you would eat with Mr. King, so we didn't wait for you!"

Suzanne's footsteps paused for a moment. After some hesitation, she turned back and reentered the CEO's office.

Mason King heard her return and looked at her.

The young woman held her hat in her hand, her hair casually gathered behind her back. She glanced at him, trying to adjust to the fact that they were now married.

Two years later, Suzanne invited him for the first time: "They've already finished eating. Let's eat."
