Self-Insert Ideas

This is collection of ideas (mostly SI) for any aspiring writers. I just give a brief outline and free to you to use it in it's entirety or not. Just message me if you either publish a story influenced by one of these ideas as I would want to read it. If anyone got a possible scenario for me to try and come with a plan, please leave a comment. More explanation in the first chapter.

Kuroko no Basuke

When I was 6 years old, I fell from the first floor of a friend house and took a shock to my head. After getting healed, I started excelling in school. Even compared to older students and adults, I was beyond. Everything was beyond easy. Answers to all problems came to me as easily as a fish swimming in water.

I was displaced many times to higher schooling level until I reached my big sister's level, then my parents decided that it would be unwelcomed for me to overtake my sister. Nevertheless, school was still astonishingly easy. Besides PE where I couldn't compete with older students, I grew lazy as my worst was better than everyone else best.

I grew so lazy and bored that I was contemplating suicide. No just kidding, I don't like the unknown. My parents introduced me to novels. I was absorbed by all these wonderful worlds in books. I wanted to see them and that's exactly what movies and animes gave me. Two years in, I grew bored once more as I could predict the scenario all a complete series just from the synopsis or the first episode.

It didn't thrill me anymore. I tried light novels, fanfictions and such but it was the same. I wanted something else. One day a friend invited me to go play and I went with him. It was basketball. Five minutes after the beginning, I was utterly exhausted. Even when I knew what I should do, my frail body from years of laziness and neglecting couldn't follow through.

It was a new experience, a new feeling: being totally outclassed. I was happy and wanted to win. I then started to rebuild my body and get my revenge. Some years passed and I got decently good at basketball. I could now last an entire match and not be humiliated on the field.

That's when I died. Killed by a truck. How cliche!

What was even more cliche was to be reborn in Kuroko no Basuke world as the main character Tetsuya Kuroko. I vowed that here I would become the best in Basketball in this world.

Soon I understood in what hell I was. My caretakers (mother and father) often forget my existence and I have to yell to get their attention when I was hungry or should get my diaper changed. I'm sure that this is why Kuroko, the original, was so small compared to his peers, at least I hope. I want to reach at least 6' by 16.

In the original, Tetsuya Kuroko was described as the 6th player, the phantom player. It was said that he was so good that even the members of the "Generation of Miracle" respected him. But from what I could remember he wasn't nowhere so good. I will correct that.

Even if my new 'parents' always forget me, they were wealthy and lax enough for me to not bother with them. Once again I was claimed as a genius, but contrarily to my past life where I was almost a local star, here nobody seemed to be able to focus on me for more than 30 seconds. That was better than good.

At four years old, I started working on my stamina. Then speed, agility and dexterity. Then my vision. I wanted to focus on passes, their precision and strength. If I could succeed in all my passes, I would be the best. I could pass to the basket as well as a player after all.

Also I wanted to reach the zone and outclass everyone. Seven years of training bear fruit. I quickly got selected in the main team of Teiko and played with the best. It was fun until I started to surpass them.

Aomine and Murasakibara couldn't block someone they couldn't see.

Kise couldn't copy me and copying the other didn't help.

I could shoot (pass to the basket) as well as Midorima.

Akashi could focus on me the longest but it wasn't just enough.

I couldn't reach the zone like that. It seemed that I will forever be bored. So I started playing less, and once more grew lazy.

At highschool, I was pleasantly surprised. I don't know if it was because of me being lazy these last two years or them getting better but they could be a decent challenge now as they were way better than their canon counterparts.

It seems that I should get my team on the rails. It won't be fun to loose to them.
