The Gathering (6)

Half an hour ago, Cai had been running toward Jian Na when he suddenly felt the presence of Jian Yi, who was in danger.

"Looks like she's unknowingly coming this way..." Cai thought as he made some quick mental calculations. 

"Jian Na is still safe for now. She's smart and careful and won't move from that hiding spot, so I should go help Jian Yi first", Cai whispered as he slightly changed directions and headed toward Jian Yi.

A few minutes later, Cai stood on top of one of the swamp tree's giant branches and saw Jian Yi jumping from root to root while being chased by what seemed to be a massive furious boar.

"What did she do to make it so mad..." Cai thought as he shook his head and jumped down to intercept the beast.

Cai landed on the beast's head and knocked it out cold.

"Senior Cai!" Jian Yi yelled happily when she noticed who the person was.
