4. Welcome Home

Robert woke up in his dorm room and was ready to begin school in Japan specifically Hachioji Academy with his friends John, Blake, and Thomas. They all lived in a 4 bedroom 2.5 bath house that wasn't too far from the campus so it was an easy walk. He went downstairs to prepare breakfast for everyone in the house because his role was the cook of the group. He made eggs and toast for Blake and himself and made cereal for Thomas. John doesn't eat breakfast because of some condition with his stomach where if he did eat breakfast he would just throw it all up as soon as he was done eating it. After all the preparation was done he called everyone down to no answer from anyone so he walked upstairs to wake them up. He started with Thomas by turning on the light and hitting him with his own pillow, he then moved on to Blake where he said "If you don't get up you won't be able to meet any girls nor eat my eggs that you love so much,'' Blake's head shot up as soon as he heard the girl part but him getting to eat eggs was a welcomed addition as well. He just knocked on John's door telling him to get up just to be up and if he needed to take a shower. Robert always had a soft spot for John they had been best friends for forever

Blake, Thomas, and Robert were eating their breakfast and watching the weird random Japanese commercials that would come on that were for some reason in English. John came downstairs and helped put the dishes away as the rest of the group got ready for the day. The walk to school was a breeze for some odd reason because of how every street sign and storefront they could understand and read fluently which was weird because none of them knew a lick of Japanese before transferring but another problem is that all the faster shortcuts were all flooded due to the weather. As they entered the campus of the academy they had no idea where to go so Blake walked up to a brown haired girl and asked for her name, she said her name was Kuba Asami but to just call her Kuba. Her english was very fluent, probably even better than the guys who grew up speaking it. She asked if they knew what class we were supposed to go to Robert piped up saying "A-1" "Really? That's the same as me and my friends class, I can introduce them to you when we get there come on!" She leads the group of transfer students to their class room on the way they were told what an average day at the academy would be like and that because of the recent flooding the dorms were shut down and students were forced to live together and that her group of friends were being relocated that night. They made it to the classroom but were told to wait outside by their teacher who they had learned her name was Ms. Yamamoto. As the bell rang the teacher walked into the class and spoke out ,once again in perfect english, that the class was getting 4 new American transfer students and she would be introducing them one by one. She spoke "First off a Junior from Hartford Union Highschool Robert Ford!" Everyone in the classroom stared in astonishment as a very tall man entered the room, apparently the stereotype that asians were small was true. But possibly the person who was the most astonishing was a natural blonde haired Asuna Shinju. The teacher continued to introduce the rest they were most surprised with Thomas being so short. Soon lunch came and there was a silence in the room as the transfers met all of their new classmates.

After all the kids got settled with their new classmates Kuba came up to introduce the rest of her friends properly. Chino and Thomas hit it off right away talking about short people problems. Along with with Chino and Thomas, Blake and Suda hit it off as well to both of these groupings seem to be more friendly with each other. On the other hand, Kuba and John clicked but in a way where they would barely talk but seem to know what each other were thinking. While everyone else was talking about the two leaders of their respective groups had their own conversation about the usual things such as the weather, the flight to Japan, and hobbies of theres but still deep down they felt like they knew each other talking like they've been friends for years. Once the first day ended they had all decided to go home and walk together for as long as it complimented their routes.
